Syosset will not slide into mediocrity if only for the simple reason that there are not enough quality programs in Nassau A to make them anything less than contenders for the county championship for the foreseeable future. A team that consistently plays in and or wins the county championship is better than mediocre. IMHO

Re: Syosset, I was referring to recent history. Say what you wish regarding your hopes for the program but there is very little talent and lower participation down the ranks...Enjoy this season.

Who do you see emerging as the new power in Nassau A with the demise of Syosset? I think that Syosset has a strong feeder program both in the town and with the igloo kids having an impact on the Varsity as soon as this season as well as for seasons to come. I would say Massapequa will continue to contend as will Syosset, but after those two I do not see any other "A" with a superior youth program to suggest that the big two should not dominate the conference for years to come.

Farmingdale will always represent!!!!!!!!

Farmingdale youth program is very strong, they will be in the mix .

What Igloo kids from the 2018, 2019, or 2020 are going to have such an impact? What positions do they play?
