um a day after her 4 NCAA MARYLAND championships then what? She going to Coach , ok cool. She going job hunting or further in school I think USB pretty good choice over top 5 for STEM degrees, plus dental and just about anything those top 5 have.

That actually isn't true. but you can say whatever u want. SB is a decent school, but ALL of the other schools in the top 13 both in the year end poll and in the laxpower rankings are ranked ahead of SB in the US News academic rankings. And they all have top tier programs in many areas. If you want to talk STEM and good lax you might want to look at Stanford or Northwestern?? And since you disparaged Maryland you might want to know that they r ranked #9 in undergrad Aeronautical Engineering, #15 in computer science and #7 in geochemistry just to name a few of their highly ranked STEM programs. SB just isn't in the same league as most of these schools academically, sorry. Still a fine place, just need to be a little more informed i guess.

This is a silly comparison. Big time hoops is probably 50 teams. Other sports many fewer teams.

The point is that it's silly to say that the definition of big time program has to be national championships.

Big time LAX? Sure if your top 5-10 on LI, go. Rest fight to get a scholarship for LAX and academic and goto a great school for career. You get cheaper college, plus 4 more years hopefully playing sport you love. If not just hit the books. Top 5. Geez, yeah sure then what? Maybe if your top 5 in nation you can make a coaching career out of it. Doubt it, usually lower girls learn game better and best of best are A+++ driven and superior sized skilled and don't learn nuainces of game. Just my opinion.

But there are a few schools that are awesome academically and bigtime lax ... Duke, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Stanford come to mind

My daughter was one of the ones that benefitted greatly from the winter training.
The girls can't wait for this winter season. We don't play on yellow jackets presently but a few plan on trying out because they had such a great experience with the group!

They played top tournaments, but didn't do well at all. Very weak year for YJ, parent coaches not helping.

That is incorrect. YJ has a strict no play in the fall league if not a current YJ player.

They had non club kids in winter league.

Fall tourney's are part of the tryout for existing players

The teams are already set. Fall has nothing to do with what team you get put on. They wait because parents would freak and complain to her and coaches about what team they get put on

Sometimes they'll let a non club kid do winter for twice the price! She's a money making genius!!

That is a completely false statement. Many players who were recruiting to YJ from other clubs end up on the fall rosters before they attend tryouts. They didn't play or were currently on a team last year, but they intend to play the coming year.

TG did such a bad job at 2021, that they jumped at the first chance they had to get away. Nothing Shady, definitely hand picked and who wouldn't take these girls if they could. But those girls wanted to leave. Only people sad are the smiths and the teammates who's team became that much worse.

Sad part is he thinks it's an insult. Its lacrosse dude. Maybe Princess should try badminton? Is she still ducking when her teammates pass her the ball?

Absolutely. And it gets much worse when they are losing. Stick swinging, body checking, cross-checking, tripping, pushing. Sore losers. Really a shame they are taught that way.

Until she's 22. Then she will have to pick up the pieces of her shattered world as she is forced to parlay her "General Studies" major into a gig as 7/11 hot dog spinner. Coming from an obvious line of mouth-breathers her potential will likely peak as shift manager. But hey, it's all the Slurpees U Can Drink when nobody's looking!!!

I see that a player from last year's SB team is no longer on the roster. What happened? This kind of thing never happens at SB.
