YJ 2021 made it to finals too. YJ actually had a great first tourney!! Only LI teams there college coaches everywhere!! Glad you stayed home while the YJ kids where getting recruited.

We have missed you. Now start in again about how your kindergarten kid is already having coaches watch her, how it's ok for your kid to goal to goal everytime she touches the ball and how ever other kid she plays with can't keep up because she is that good.

Slow your roll yj 2020 jones won the B bracket not the A bracket where 2020 Mnd Black and Heros Green were. I am not Nostradamus but MnD 2020 black and Heros 2020 Green probably were heading for the finals before mother nature played the spoiler. There is always next week when all the teams meet at Summer Genesis.Good summer rivalries.

YJ 2020 Curcio has 3-4 very solid players, the rest we saw this past weekend are average players. Just reality for some parents. As people said it will be a fun summer watching YJ, Heros and M and D battle.

Top kids should play more than bottom kids If the sole goal is to win, then yes you play the best players. by 9th grade the goal of the YJ (and actually most Tournaments) changes, and it becomes about exposure to college coaches and recruitment. wins and losses don't matter, all kids should play equally..and you'll see that once the top kids begin to verbal.. they wont even be attending most tournaments

Saw YJ russell 22 play M&D 22 Black and Heros 22 green. They gave both team a good game. lost to M&D by 1 and Heros by 3 so many YJ teams got smacked up today wth??? has the money made these coaches complacent? I know the girls are as talented as ever. has to be the diaper wearing coaches CR has in place. this is a disgrace.

If you look at wits going on , there are only a couple of "dominate" Y.J. teams this weekend, and one of them is Jones, a coach who's high school team has all but disappeared from the H.S. scene. That tells me its not coaching because she's not that good, it's who's on the field that counts. Lonegro is just a bad coach, and yes I know that Bert isn't their but his team isn't producing. Also, don't try to pawn off the some teams are missing key girls because of states B.S. If a club and it's members are going to bill themselves as "Elite" then they should be as dominate wether a player or two are missing from the lineup, it's just a weak excuse. In the end, the reality is that Y.J. is the same as any other club, a few top players driving the bus, everyone els is average to below hanging on the tops coat tails loudly exclaiming there greatness. This should be a wake up call for all L.I. girls lacrosse, we are starting to get passed by, especially by the MD. players and if we don't unite and make all our girls stronger, not just the ones in the same pinnnie, we will become a footnote in girls lacrosse.

Jones team plays in mickey mouse brackets, if they want to be considered legit they need to get into the deep end of the pool and play some real teams

Curcio goes down to another MD team. What has happened to this team? Did CR take over yet? Many YJ teams are coached by overmatched college players or early twenty somethings. Parents could coach most of the blue teams because they are so rich in talent. To start this summer season you can see in big spots against big opponents our coaches are in way over their heads. For what we pay we should be getting more.

Who cares there were some great games. 2018 M & D stole one from Top Guns in playoffs. Top Guns up by 3 with a few minutes left made a few mistakes and let the game get away from them. Both teams were exceptional.
