How about everyone just appreciates there is talent on all of these teams. Should be a fun year to watch some good 2020 games

Exactly. The mission should not be championship chasing, thats silly. Focus on getting the kids to be the best players on and off the field that they can be. These events only help some of the top players play against the best out there. Kids, and parents, should leave these events regardless of win/loss and see what they need to work on.

Proof will be on the field. I say Express takes all.

If SO, HOW COULD THAT BE?????? It's a'20 playdate? why would anyone allow that--the tournament organizers or the opponents for that matter?? Hopefully just heresay and pititful slandering. I can't imagine anyone bringing an older kid down to play.

Florida Fogo is a 2020 and usually plays 2019, 2018 and 2017... He's joining the Looney organization as a full time member and will be attending all tournaments Spring and Summer with the 2020 Looneys... He is age appropriate and always plays up... He's a competitive Fogo and just looking to test himself against kids his own age, no claims that he's better than any of the kids in NY and Maryland but should be interesting to see how he measures up.

Madlax tweeted about a win for Madlax 2020 vs LI Express yesterday. Is this true? If so, what happened to LI Express? Madlax 2020 lost 16-3 to the Baltimore Breakers earlier in the day and are likely to finish in the bottom half of the NPYLL this Spring.

He is playing with their 2020s on weekends so is he flying up every weekend? Amazing that at 12 and 13 a team would put this much focus on a fogo rather than continue his development as a more diverse player and that of the rest of the team. Good strategy for winning but feel for the kids having a different experience than most of their peers.

Heard it was some kind of all star team mad lax put together and not their real 7th grade team

Mid-Atlantic Madness is this weekend with Express, Legacy and fl$ playing Bucks, Looneys and Rising Sons so it will be very easy to tell if Express is still #2 on the Island and likely in the country based on how this weekend goes. So just relax and take a deep breath and come back off the ledge.

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect for this weekend. Looking forward to seeing how our teams from Strong Island do. Should all be strong games. My guess LI goes 6-3

And in that same tournament the Crabs were beaten by Rising Sons who were beaten by the Terps and Sweetlax was crushed by Looney's who lost to NH Tomahawks who were beaten by the Terps. Sweetlax was a bad loss even though it was 7-6 but every team in that tournament (except for Crush) lost at least one game to a team other than the Crush. To me, that proves there is no clear cut #2 so the Terps definitely belong in the conversation.

Looneys made the finals but lost earlier in the tournament to NH Tomahawks. Crabs made the semifinals but lost earlier in the tournament to Rising Sons. SweetLax made the semifinals but earlier lost to Looneys who had lost their previous game to NH Tomahawks as stated in the prior sentence. Terps beat Sons 6-3 and destroyed Tomahawks 10-2. They had their bad loss to Sweetlax in the quarterfinal play in game. So they did not make semifinals but none of the teams who did stands out as a clear #2 so yeah, Terps are in the mix. And since they'll be playing Looneys and Rising Sons this weekend, they'll have a chance to make their case on the field as it should be.

It appears Crabs were originally scheduled but had to back out for whatever reason so Bucks are filling in. Agree they were not up to the level of these teams last year but kudos to them for agreeing to fill in and hopefully they will make a decent showing.

And to top it all off, Sons beat Looney's this Spring already. This is a great class with anything happening on a given day as evidence of the previous reports. There at least 12 2020 teams that can compete at the highest level. You don't find that at other classes.
