Seems to me, with the amount of revenue generated, they clearly could have secured impartial judges with no ties to local lax community.
Fantastic idea, Albert Einstein. I am sure that we would all approve of the fee increase as well, to ferry the folks from other states. Sorry about the shot, but evaluators in hoods sound good? Wait, I am not sorry.
Did anyone think that Tom Rotanz would be an excellent evaluator as he has a deep knowledge of the game along with twenty years of coaching experience? If not him specifically, he would have been the first source I would have contacted for ideas on pulling together an evaluation commmitee.
This does not need to be controversial - it does require credible names, respected within the community, and without immediate local to the players on the field.
