Try outs aren't blind, the best kids are tied up in advance by every team, the weakest kids based on the previous year's game play are playing for their spot in the try outs. The kids who don't make it often have parents who blame it on politics. Whether you like it or not, Xtreme has taken players from Express and TLI over the years, and no one from Xtreme has voluntarily left to go to those organizations. Xtreme also beat those two teams (and everyone else) this Fall with their current roster. Call it political, but the results on the field are undeniable.

So is the fact that multiple kids on the team should be playing 2017 according NYS school cut off dates. No big deal, but it is interesting that when you played the one team (TEAM LI) that actually goes by US lax rules you barely won. We all know that you have at least some kids that wouldn't make the team LI team because they're too OLD. Don't come back on here and say it's not so. Former players on the team KNOW how old everyone is. No big deal, it works for the MD and PA clubs, so have at it.
