Re: Boys 2029-7th Grade Fall 2023/Summer 2024

91 didn’t cheat. The tournament organizers provided permission for 91 to use a player that has been with its club for several years and aside from his talent is a great young man and teammate. It can be argued that if they were given an exemption to a specific eligibility rule, then other teams should have also received the same benefit or courtesy. Another argument can be made that several teams may not required an exemption and may have faced a tougher opponent and but for the exemption may have beaten 91.

Greeley 15-7 over Carmel
Kind of surprised it was so lopsided, Carmel has at least three commits which are two high D3 and one middle pack D1.
But man the Greeley schedules looks tough, Cold Spring Harbor, Greenwich, Mamo, Somers, and Bronxville will all be tests. And if they play like they did today - they’re all gonna be fat Ls. I didn’t see anything that shows that they are any better than last year. This is the same team with a tougher schedule they’d better improve quick if they want to hang with those teams.

The back of the cage staff would be wise to remove this thread. One self important dad thinks he knows better and lacks the class to make adult decisions in his post. I am sure this will get back to the girl’s family and if I were them I would consider legal options. No reason to [Censored] a minor. Please have some class on this one.

Well, that settles that. Thank you for letting us know you “certainly” never heard that. Unfortunately, I have also spoken to HHH parents and had this told to me directly (I’m an HHH a parent as well, so hoping it’s not the case).

UNC is not going as well as expected this year due to the injuries of 3 top players. Not having them playing is really a big deal for UNC this year. You can see they are struggling and are now out of the top 10. UNC will be fine, they have 4 losses all to current Top 10 teams (Northwestern, Syracuse, Notre Dame, JMU) and they have 2 wins against quality opponents (Virginia & Florida). BC coming up and they have the ACC Tournament where they will face stiff competition. It doesn't look like there are any clear cut favorites to win the National Championship so you never know what will happen. Down year for UNC would be a great year for most programs.

Ya’ll insufferable…double holdbacks, holdbacks, fly ins, drive ins, fake ig rankings, fogo dominance, goalie greatness, ML folding, NL overachieving, crabs loading up, hawks #1, FCA holier than though, no other clubs in the us matter, lol. next ty x will be seen patrolling Troy park this weekend. HS can’t come soon enough for this age, let the player play, cheer, go home. Rinse repeat. Please let us know what AAA or AA team your undersized son plays for Actually sounds like a 91 parent. Only team he didn't denigrate. Hawks, FCA and Crabs SHOULD dominate....they are loaded with Holdbacks. Take their holdbacks out of the equation and top AAA teams would compete, let's be real. I don't believe 91 has that many. Holdback daddy on the sideline we see you...your forehead says 2027 dad. Here we go again with the Holdback whining… high school can’t get here soon enough with this group of parents. You’ll get laughed off you soap box if you keep it up when your kid is in 9th grade Even worse in college.

All the teams improve from year to year. When it comes to Heros being at the top now we're supposed to believe they just got better and started playing as a team, why can't the same be true for Skywalkers improving season to season? And every single team takes players who played on other teams year-to-year, it's normal movement. Because that was the supposed reason they were better last summer, and then they didn't play well in the fall--so what changed...? they were missing key players all fall it's that simple Thank you! That explains it. I'm guessing soccer...

Kid is a good player and can tell he works hard. Let the kid celebrate with all he has to deal with, he deserves it. The kids are old enough to decide if celebrations go too far, parents don’t need to get involved or upset. It will be handled on the field.
Also no more holdbacks, you either meet the age or your don’t.
