Moose should enjoy this year. Players will probably start exit then. It’s not just a team you’re in, it’s a club.

Keep dreaming. It will be filled with kids from 91 and Express that get replaced with out of staters due to not winning.

Dismiss it all you want right now Igloo is the best team on Long Island … fall ball at this age is no excuse anymore at this age kids are ready to play or they are not 91/express have a long way to go to catch up.

Igloo is 1-1 against Mooselax this Fall. They only beat 91 by 1 goal and didn’t even play Express or Rebels this weekend. By the way no T Shirts were given out yesterday.
Igloo is not 1-1. S moose that’s false check again. To use everyone’s fall excuse igloo def had some sloppy moments that let to 2/3 goals for 91 but your lying to yourself if u think 91 was ever in the game , express has played no one and struggles to beat anyone so far. Express made their soft schedule harder than it had to be. Igloo already beat Tebs black. Get the facts straight.

Facts are Igloo can never keep a team together. Players that can will leave for 91 and Express every year. Those are the facts and they are straight as an arrow!

That’s not entirely untrue.

I don’t see Herd defections coming from this group. They are mostly from same area and will play together at a very good High School. They probably won’t need access that some of the big name clubs get because of the success the team and high school team will have.

However, there are some delusional Express/91 parents who think their kids are gonna be there at the end of the line. Fly ins will start in 8th-9th grade. Everyone points at the other clubs never keeping their teams together, well 91/Express also have bona fide pasts of bringing in players from wherever they can to win and market the brand and their guys who have been there since the beginning end up on the bench. And parents from other parts of the country pay up for this because of the past recruitment and placement success.

This game is going to change for alot of these kids over the next couple of years. Enjoy it while you can.

I don't disagree with this. Igloo are deep and talented.

I would put them in this order:
Igloo
Moose
91

then the rest:
Express
Legacy
Rebels black

Rebels 29 black F/O guy is a 2028 and heard they bought down other 28’s for tristar. Hence why their 28 team pulled out of the tournament.

It’s not wide open. By summer it will be the top 3 of Igloo, Moose and 91 like it is right now.

Igloo and Moose already out of the gate well ahead with Igloo atop the charts no doubt about it. 91 should be able to pull it together after a (disasterous) slow start as they did last year after losses to both Igloo and Mooselax. Express better use a lifeline and call for help. Legacy is entered in the B bracket at NAL. Rebels are improved but will be soundly beaten by any good team.

Rebels vs Igloo 1 Goal Game
Rebels vs Leading Edge 1 Goal Game
Rebels also crushed 2Way and Primetime.

They are legit, good to have another team in the mix. Competition makes all better.

What people fail to realize with these dense rankings is the more competitive teams on LI, the better for the kids. Iron sharpens Iron.

And if you think that’s a good thing for your kid, you’ve never played a sport beyond 6th grade. Get the number of a great PT and Orthopedic Surgeon, you’re going to need them both.

Rebels director loves to come on here and promote the densest things, lol
No one works their kids harder! If you want your kids to detest lacrosse by HS, come to the Rebels

It’s great they are so enthusiastic about their program, but it’s constant across all age groups and has become annoying. Most of their parents dont have a clue, and they think they are the greatest teams in the country. Fact is, it all changes quickly come High School.

Def more overreactions and shade from sideline experts than anything else on these boards. The Rebels hype machine has slowed down alot since tryouts but people still take shots.

While my son plays on a different club, I have no problem with the Rebels as an organization. Yes, a lot of their parents appear a little, lets call it 'overzealous'. But the directors are passionate and do appear to be going all-out and committed to developing their players. Nothing really shady about them.

Anyone who says the Rebels @ this age group have not improved tremendously has no clue. The coach that came over from the 91 team has done a tremendous job.Just goes to show what’s going on with that 91 team.
That has now changed their name.Looks like they can not even get that figured out.And I also read that the head coach refused to shake hands in one of the games?Anyone know what that was about?

Igloo dad chomping at the bit to get a top ten.

91 hasn’t played enough yet so you won’t get to soil yourself with them showing outside the top 20.

Just put your rankings in here, Sam’s thing. Or maybe they realize what a joke they are and not bothering. It’s causing adults to drag their kids across the country to play smaller kids all for IG. It turned into who got the biggest, oldest kid on tournament teams to play the true club teams that practice all year together and then post and brag about it.

Ranking what? It’s club lacrosse not D-1 NCAA, ranking 7th grade club is silly and doesn’t mean a thing, unless you’re bragging to your work buddy about your student 7th grader. Get a grip.

I believe everyone know they mean nothing. And I think the point trying to be made is that when 91 is ranked high the parents and organization promotes the heck out of it.And I believe the point has gotten across and kudos to the author.Just reading the reactions of the 91 daddy’s is priceless!Again it shows the true culture.Rankings are only relevant when 91 says so!

I don’t recall anyone promoting the rankings last year in the 29 thread.

Amen to that. But they have a point, suddenly rankings don’t matter and we all know why!!

Chaos is full of pride, you’ll be waiting a while for those rankings! Who. Cares anyway, it’s all bs now that National teams are involved. There are maybe a handful of actual teams in top 20 the rest are all star teams made up of 2028s playing down.

For anyone playing in Fall Brawl this weekend, watch out to see if Legacy East brings 2028 players. Word is they don't have enough players to field a team.

Express retained some pride and is playing in the better bracket at NAL. Surprised that EN and Sweetlax Upstate are in the lower one.

Probably since Legacy East 2028 is not playing. Why did Legacy Predators drop out? Might see some of those players as well.

Honestly yes.29 is not the only struggling age group for 91 right now.Last year at this time the rankings were being updated after every tournament that 91 teams did well in.And to the people who claim that rankings were not a hot topic last year? Please do your homework!
There are plenty of 91 /US Club lax connections.
And I do believe the comment was also aimed at the social media outlets for the 91 organization promoting the rankings along with the individual all star accolades.

Absolutely! Suddenly WS isn’t important. These clubs like 91 & express are behind the scenes at many events and clinics. They are constantly trying to pull the strings. Promote their brand by any means necessary.

Legacy East 2028 looked good last tournament, it could have something to do with brining a bunch of Lumberjax starters to play with them
