Top honors in 8th Grade/Conference A will be decided on April 30th when Huntington White and Manhasset play at Huntington. These two will probably be playing for home field advantage during the May 21st championship game as the first and second seeds.

I agree, the two best in the league> good luck to both programs!

Seventh grade east looks to be headed to the last week with Huntington White and Cold Spring Harbor on May 15th, 3:30pm. Unless there is an upset along the way, the winner will take on Seventh grade West champion where Wantagh has the inside track.

LISGYLL Standings updated. 8th Grade A Conference - Huntington over Manhasset...

Standings are now posted - should have been a great game between Huntington White and Manhasset in the Eighth Grade bracket. Does anyone have the final score from that match?

Huntington handily beat Manhasset last week. They dismantled Hauppauge 8th yesterday. A well run, efficient team of YJ players/coaches. Definately the class of this division.

This weekend, May 14th/15th, is the end of the regular league season. Seedings and the final playoff matchups will be carried on BOTC next week as the LISGYLL closes for the Spring 2011 season.

Seventh Grade East and West
Reminder that the Seventh Grade East and West divisions will play regularly scheduled games on the weekend of May 21st/May 22nd. The West Conference Champion will play the East Conference Champion on Tuesday, May 24th, at The Field of Dreams at 7:00pm for the Seventh Grade Division Championship.

Eighth Grade Conference AA
Half Hollow Hills will face Farmingdale (based on last week's semifinal results) for the division title.

Eighth Grade Conference A
Huntington White and Manhasset will square off one more time for the championship. Huntington White took the regulat season matchup over Manhasset which, as it turns out, determined the home and away teams for this championship match.

Both Bayville and Malverne will try to determine the seasonal champion as these two teams tied during the regular season.

Huntington team is stacked with players outside of Huntington.

Huntington white , is a stacked team with girls from towns other than Huntington. So not fair, there was no tryouts , the team was cherry picked by unfair coaches!

I read here they are all YJ players, which is neither here nor there. It's a shame if there really were no tryouts though.

Rules of the League are that anyone can play on any Team as long as the players town does not have a team in LISGYLL.

The Director gets rosters prior to start of the season that lists names and addresses of players.

Team may be stacked but they appear to be abiding by the rules.

Huntington White has 14 kids from Huntington and 3 Cold Spring Harbor kids. No other towns represented. I personally saw the roster a month ago. Since CSH has no team, Huntington did nothing wrong.

From what I understand, the Huntington and CSH soccer and basketball teams are combined, so it is common for some of the girls from the two towns to be friends

I agree. I believe the Huntington kids are from different School Districts as well (Huntington and Whitman). So rest easy all who are worrying about the future of a possible HS powerhouse team from Huntington...

HHH defeated Farmingdale in the championship game at Allen Park in Farmingdale to

win the conference championship game. Farmingdale had won their semi-final

against Harborfields to claim second place.

after these two well matched and well coached teams had tied the week before in the

Cold Spring Harbor, 9-7, in one tremendously exciting and well played game.

BOTC Industries thanks LaxFan21 for getting these results posted. In Eighth Grade Conference A, the Manhasset upset over the Huntington White, despite the season match and the pregame chatter, reminds us all why the games are played. Congratulations to Manhasset in securing the division crown.

Cheers are also in order for Half Hollow Hills (Eighth Grade Conference AA), Bayville (Seventh/Eighth Grade bracket), and both Cold Spring Harbor (Seventh Grade East) and Wantagh (Seventh Grade West, Overall Champion) on terrific season.

Does anyone know when the 2012 schedule will be available? It's still not on the website and my daughter plays soccer so we want to organize her conflicts as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
