We at Globall Sports are proud to announce our 2013 Fall Lacrosse Leagues.
Currently in our 3rd year, we have added a new location due to popular demand.
Boys: 3rd - 8th Grade + JV
Girls: 5th - 7th Grade
- 6 Games guarateed
- Games played Saturday evenings
Start: Saturday, Sep 21st
Fee: $1195
Locations:
Mitchel Athletic Complex, Garden City
Tully Park, New Hyde Park

Registration for the Saturday Night Lights League is now open. Games will begin in September.

Cage sage can you speak with the directors of the league and see if and what they will be doing to ensure that the league will be age appropriate. Last fall and winter global league, teams were bringing 9th and 10th grade players into a 7/8 division. It was a real problem that led to several injuries. It was a good league but the problem with the inability of the league to get a grasp on the ages of players was a major stumbling block. When they were approached about the problem they were in full denial mode and had no answer. Will they require birth certificates or really press coaches to ensure the teams are age appropriate, if you can't field a team with the proper aged players then don't field a team.

As per all of our leagues at the Indoor Facility. Proof of Birth (Birth Certificates, Players passes etc.) is a required document in the registration process which takes place prior to the start of any league.

I just spoke with someone over there about registering my JV Team. They told me that Birth Cert are required. Looks like they addressed any former issue.

Meghan Frey, one of the program's administrators, took this age issue very seriously when we spoke with her about three to four weeks back. When it comes to the team registration process, Globall Lacrosse is going to be very rigorous about age validation for the "SNL" teams based on suggestions here that some teams skirted the rules last season.

Reminder : The Globall "SNL" League begins play in about one week's time. You still have the opportunity to register your team for this outdoor Fall season. BOTC has learned that the league has grown again this year in terms of numbers and will be able to increase the depth of play for those participating teams. When you analyze the cost per game, this is an extremely effective training vehicle for your club or town teams. Contact Globall today in order to get into the scheduling grid coming up next week.

Anyone know what teams are playing in the JV Division? BOTC will arrange for a teams listing to be posted within the next week via Globall Lacrosse. Please stay tuned for that update.

Please note that all team slots are now SOLD OUT with a single exception. There is still room for a single 7th grade team - if you would like to take this final 2013 League slot, contact Globall per the flyer at the start of this thread.

New Junior Varsity Bracket Opened Upon Request
Globall Sports Centers' Saturday Night Lights (under the lights) Fall League is looking for two boys Junior Varsity teams to complete a newly created and requested bracket.
Games will be played Saturday nights starting at 8:00pm.
