How many LI teams qualified? This tournament should be town based like the LLWS and it may actually help grow the sport. Each year 5/ teams qualify, and it is completely watered down. I could see 1 team representing LI and possibly 1 from upstate. But how teams lose 2 or 3 games in a qualifier and celebrate going to the World Series is a joke. A town tournament would generate more interest but not as much money, so it won't happen. Which teams from LI are in the World Series? |
