Not exactly. He just keeps churning through a new group of unaware consumers. I bet there are less than 20% of express customers (suckers) that stick with them for more than a 2-3 years. But there is always a new wave every year of more suckers with starry eyed fantasies that he can suck dry when the more experienced families have long exited the crime scene.
I would disagree with this statement from my experience I only know my sons team but in the 4 years he has played on the team I can only think of a small handful that left on their own, most left when they were cut, I also find it so interesting that people only rip one director, granted he is the face of the organization but don't the other partners also cash checks? they must be willing partners but we never read about them on here, why is that?

[quote=Anonymous] Amen. It's unbelievably disappointing to let college coaches know your schedule ahead of time and not be given the chance to perform regardless of whether you play well or not at least be given the opportunity given the money paid. If not given the opportunity then don't take the money. Scam. were you there and is you kid on the team or are you just posting random thoughts on a web site? A lot of the chatter has been about the Terps this past weekend, particularly the final game against the Crabs - The Crabs game was the fourth game of the day and there were hardly any coaches at that game. All the kids had plenty of opportunities to showcase their talents all day. If your kid is not getting significant playing time in a game with his club team he is probably not going to be an early recruit so relax already, still lots of showcases, tournaments and games left for all the boys to showcase, this is a marathon not a sprint. What's the point of having a team of 23 or 24 at the club level if you're only going to play 13? It is just club. High school and college everybody accepts they have way more than they'll ever need but thats ok because its "free". But to only play 13 or 14 players on a roster of 24 who have all paid the same money doesn't make sense for any club - unles it's free.

Three most important plays in lacrosse are FOGOs winning face off, goalie saves and goalie clears. Regardless of new rule you need the ball at X to win and you need a good ball stopper in the cage. Coaches prize those two spots more than all other. Attackmen and middies who are great athletes are abundant. Top FOGOs and keepers are rare.

Of course it is a team game, but there is a relative scale. You think Duke was the best team in last two years because of anything besides face offs and goalie play? Cuse was on the way to beating them, and Notre Dame was clearly the deeper team in the finals last year but Duke was able to just hang on because of face off wins and goalie play. Duke had very little midfield depth and lost a key starter in the NCAA tournament and still got away with it. You think Bryant College beats Cuse in the dome without dominant face off and goalie play? Then look at UVa. They have had weak goalie play and so so X play since 2011 and can't win with #1 rated recruiting classes all over the field at other positions. UNC season fell apart last year when they had injuries at FOGO. It is silly to debate this. If you don't win face offs or make clears, you can't have possessions or win. If your goalie gives up 15 yard shots he can see or gives up rebounds all day you can't win. With a weak midfield or an iffy LSM card you can compensate. Recent NCAA champs proved it.

Penn state locking up fogos interesting w rule changes The rule change did not change the importance of the fogo. Best players are still excelling at x. Many have already shown that playing at tournaments with new rules.speculation from the haters turned out to be just that. Fogo will continue to be key recruited position!

I don't disagree. But are safeties and nose guards valued the same as quarterbacks? Nope. Relative value.

Duke pulled goalies on multiple occasions in the NCAA's and two years ago started different goalie in the semi's and the finals because of poor play - if goalie was that important Penn St would have won a few titles by now - short sighted to not give more love the the entire team and thin that two players won them two titles - Duke won despite their goalies not because of them

Baloney, Luke Aaron was a beast last year. Luke Aaron last year with a 9.92 goals against average (28th in the nation) and a .505 save percentage (#38 in the nation) - not a beast, good keeper, not a beast. those are not opinions, those are statistics

What's a fact are the actual scores on any given day, and that's why the games are played with referees, scoreboards and clocks. You can only talk about the games actually played, won and lost. 'any given day' games don't exist.

'any given day' games don't exist. In the transient world that is Fall Recruiting circuit lacrosse the scores and winning and losing does not matter - rosters are different from week to week and even game to game with in a tournament - this is not a league or playoffs and while the teams play hard they do not play to win. In a "real" situation your best goalie would play the whole game, your starting attack and defense would play the 90% of the game and your first offensive middy's would play 70% of the game. In the Fall showcase circuit you have kids still playing Soccer and Football. FCA and WCS have different rosters every week 3D and Madlax have area teams and national teams and FCA puts teams together on a tournament by tournament basis as well as a lot of kids play on multiple teams. In a play to win at all cost tournament without concern for playing time and hurting feelings you have 8-10 really really good teams and on any given day any one could beat any other one. for my money if they all played to win, 91 is the best team but certainly not unbeatable. IMHO
