I don't think BS is that ignorant thathe would hurt these girls. He has been receiving calls from coaches on some od the purple girls so he knows how important ir is for them to be seen. He knows a few do not belong on team and moved them to white as a courtesy for bei g w the prgram and paying for camps and clinics for the past 5 years. He had no choice but to take them when white folded, and thats where the big roster came from. I think he will make it clear what there role is and II doubt their parents will say anything as they are grateful their daughter is still in the prgram. Nothing anyone can do unitil we see what transpires next month at practice and who goes to the tournaments. In the meantime best of luck to those tryi g out for YJ this weekend. "He had no choice but to take them when white folded" you lost me right there. He runs the program, if he has no choice who does? Who's in charge??

2021 girls from tg playing in tournament for yg They are playing with their off-season team, Crossfire. A collection of mostly Bayport and ESM girls who have played together for years regardless of club affiliation (many girls played on this team since before they played travel ball). A Bayport Youth lax coach organizes them (his daughter is on the team, and his other daughters are all great players, and they usually play when their isn't a conflict from either club). No conspiracy here, this team also played in the top guns fall tournaments. So they are spreading the love evenly.

If you think the white parents are going to settle for just being there you are sadly mistaken. They aren't going to be cheerleaders, they are going to play. 27 girls on a team is a nightmare. What happens when 15 of them only play attack and your daughter gets one shift per half? No one benefits from such a big roster. Can't rely on 5 girls missing each tournament either.

Who's the ignorant one. Thinking that Bill is planning it all out. Once you get over eight subs it is a nightmare to manage. Feel sorry for the coaches that will have to organize the mess.

Say what you want but that will become an issue, its nonsense they are put into tournament as a YJ team and I cannot believe BS and SS will want these kids to play for and line CR pocket in the off season, look what happened to TG at the 2020 and 2019 team. Essentially the Tg kids on that team are at a tryout for YJ and CR will make sure to take the ones she wants .Even better another YJ daddy coach to join the ranks, how are all these parent coaches even qualified to be girls lax coaches .

What the heck is going on, now we have TG rostered players on YJ teams for fall tournaments. YJ has already destroyed the 2019, 2020 age groups and now BS is going to sit back and let his players be the minor leagues for YJ 2021. Amazing that BS is now so desperate for kids to play that he is afraid to speak up to parents of 2021 players and ask for a little loyalty ton the club. To the 2020 parents who stayed with TG maybe we can put a team into some of the fall tournaments under YJ also that way we can have a tryout with out anyone knowing also.

Where does it say that if you are a parent you can't coach. I believe a lot of very good coaches are have children. BS just doesn't want to give up a dime to pay any quality coaches. He will continue to use his daughters name and hope it will attract enough pay checks. I believe that is the main reason that 2020 and 2019 have gone to other clubs

That's a lot considering that minutes are probably more important to the purples from a "getting recruited" perspective.

NOT TRUE - the typical Black player will get 100% more time since the 2018 Purple and White teams are not even invited to the fall recruiting tourneys.

The dad does not coach for yellow jackets, he coaches for the Town team in the town in which the majority of the girls come from. He is a good person and before these girls were old enough for travel he got them together to play in some tournaments. These girls have gone to various clubs (TG and YJ). He is just trying to get the girl's more games. Do not vilify this man for creating opportunities. The topic of which club you play for is never an issue and never comes up when these girls play together, from him. These girls have become friends and may want to continue to play with their friends in club, thus they switch. Also none of these girls have a signed contract directing them to who they can and can't play with. Outside of their first commitment being to play for their club team in the 5 summer tourns. that they have with their club and when their off season team is at a tourn and competing against their club, they are expected to play for their club. But if their club is not at a tourn who cares who they play for. That is a families decision, not Carol's or Bill's

There have not been any TG tourneys this fall so perhaps you mean the Lacrosse by 3 Hofstra 7v7 events. Also, the 21 girls listed do not all come from that town. It presents poorly playing across travel teams and it also prevents current YJ Blue players from being with their teammates for this fall tourney.

CR must be ecstatic these kids can't get enough lax, every event gives them experience and makes them better players, thereby making her yj teams better. BS fought every step of this extra lax, foolishly, now all his best players in all the young age groups left. If I were a club director I would encourage every girl on every team to get involved in this type of stuff.

Nice story, but not accurate. There were/are enough 2021 YJ players to go as one team, I count approx. 17 going on a team to Prime Time Young Guns and heard a couple of other players tried to register but the roster was full. They were not originally going as 2021 because the 2020 group was/is supporting the 2019s who were/are short and the remainder of 2020s were/are mixed with the 2021s as two teams. Simply look at the current rosters on the web site.

27 vs 21 means the average black team field players will get ~22 more minutes (a half plus) of playing time at your typical showcase event (4 games) than will the purples. That's a lot considering that minutes are probably more important to the purples from a "getting recruited" perspective. I bet it won't be 27 by the time the tournaments start. Last year there were girls listed on various teams that weren't playing. Like commercial airlines overbooking flights.... Unfortunately here, if nobody cancels, you can't give then a free ticket and put them on the next available flight. 2017 rosters are down. probably being changed for the better

What happened? How long is he going to keep roster offline? Really that's his solution to this mess.

He's fixing a mistake. Asking 4 purple girls if they want to go to black. Some of them have already been looked at by multiple schools. Relax, they will be posted soon.

What happened? How long is he going to keep roster offline? Really that's his solution to this mess. 27 girls on 2017 purple and people complained. They listened to the complaints and are making changes. They take the rosters down while they make changes and you complain about that too. It's no wonder BS doesn't like talking to parents. When the rosters come back up, I'm sure their will be complaints about the girls that were moved. Plenty of other programs to go to if you feel you are being treated unfairly.

I think he's a liar. If those girls have had multiple looks already why are they playing and taking away opportunities from other players? Just tell the truth. Do now black girls have to play with limited playing time? So 25 on black? Really!!! He thinks were all stupid. quote=Anonymous]He's fixing a mistake. If it's not one thing they [lacrosse] about something else. There are many parents that just complain no matter what, by nature. Most of them are on BOTC! Can't even give credit for fixing a mistake. Next time maybe he'll just leave it, if he's going to crap for fixing it anyway!

This is just one of many "mistakes". It's not the first and it won't be the last! Why not answer question above? How do you know? Who are you? How much do you pay to be on tg?
