Which 2022 Maryland teams will beat Smash?

There are no TRUE 2022 teams in MARYLAND that will beat SMASH. The only way to beat Smash will be to load the other team with 5-7 2021 kids... like many teams from outside of NY do.

On that note, which 2022 LI teams are going to MD to play in the Greene Turtles Fall Invitational Tourney?

Is this really true ? UNITED has not had even one practice yet ? EXPRESS has had 4.

Don't change the subject.. 91 is a elite club - but how could it be that UNITED has not had one practice yet?

Ok so let's rate a team on how many practices they have had ? From what I've seen they need a lot more than that.

Aren't you a little concerned that your team has not gotten together yet for a practice? Most other 2022's have had several. Especially with some new kids on the team. Don't you want to see if the team can gel?

Not sure what the above poster is referring to. Express 2022 both Team 1 and Team 2 have practiced since early September, pretty sure well before other clubs. Not that practices is revelant so have so many if not attending all fall tournamets. As well that many of the lax kids are also in their football, baseball, soccer, etc season now. Let the boys enjoy and finish their seasons. Thei are 10 year old boys, no rush. Too many hothead dads on these forums. You have all lost your marbles with rushing these boys. Let them enjoy the sport of Lacrosse so they dont end up hating it later in life. Enough with club bashing, many are false statements made by angry parents. Lets preserve these forums for the knowledgeable of the clubs.

If they are not planning on playing in the Fall- there is no reason to jump into practice just yet. 91 finished their try outs weeks after Express, so feasibly, Express was able to start early September. I would gather if a team was worried about how they did in choosing kids, they would want to practice. if they are confident in their kids, they do not feel the pressure to jump in and see what they got and what they still need to get. Some teams have started and some have not- your best athletes are usually muli sport players- they probably are on football or soccer. Does not make a lot of sense to hold practices if the whole team cannot be there. I am sure things will pick up for all the teams when it is time to get going. I doubt United is overly concerned.

Seriously? Why? Do you think a top 2022 team suddenly is going South because they have not held a practice? You tried out for a summer tournament team. Any extra may or may not be with your full team. If your kid made this team he is in good hands and with good company. You might get a practice going and be missing 7-8 players and not get a full picture of the team or how they'll gel. Apparently 91 is offering Fall practices now, but you cannot be guaranteed that everyone is interested in doing so. This madness to start practice 2 weeks after rosters are finalized is driven by a fear of having to keep up with the Jones. Your son made a great team, I don't think it has changed so drastically from last year that you need to panic.

91 Smash is a science experiment that will eventually blow up. You are NOT the best on Long Island.

Cockeysville is the team to beat. They beat Smash in semi and United in final.

Actually they're a U-based organization and it was a U11 bracket. But don't let facts get in the way of your hating.

Interesting because they were playing in a 9/10 bracket along with smash and united.

What about the year before when they lost to Arden diamondbacks? Same excuse?
