every lax club team is divided, parents and the girls. YJ, TG, Liberty you name it. and you all know it. there are the girls that play alot, play a little and dont play at all in big spots. all you idiots think your daughter is better than she really is, except for maybee 1 or 2 people per club. all the talking that goes on between parents about my kid should and that kid shouldn't. I hear it at HS games, practices, tournaments when you morons are drinking at the bar. you are all pathetic.

CK, poor guy is heading into a nightmare over at 2019 YJ. Spoke w a few parents with kids on that team , a few of the issues
1) Head coach who is rarely around
2) Mommy and daddy assistant coaches who allow their kids and their kids only to be ballhogs
3) Assistant coaches whose kids maybe don't belong on top team so will now have more deserving players moved off team to make room for new TG kids, coaches kids, kids from assistant coaches town team.
4) Usually the top players are happy on the top teams, does not seem to be the case
5) 28 kids on the team

Why don't they just take their rebel team and go into tournaments if they're so good? Why don't they just stick together as that rebel team

They probably should. But that is alot of extra work. Easier to join forces with the top brand name in the industry and go from there (yj btw).

Wow, slightly jaded perhaps?! When you stop calling people idiots and morons, maybe you'll be taken seriously. But please go on and vent away. It's like a car crash, we can't look away.

Can't go in tournaments with just 1 team. Major tournaments only take programs with many teams in different age groups. That team is very good. Only seen them in 7 on 7 format. Wonder how good they are on full field with 12 players?

Even more impressive 12 v 12. They bring the right amount of subs, cut the dead wood. All the kids are ballers. They played toe to toe with M&D, blew out skywalkers in 12 v 12. Since they are made of the top yj and tg kids you will never see them face off, but they would crush either. Hand picking the best players in the age from LI makes for a very strong team.

It's mostly 2019s and a few 2020s. Pretty sure the coaches think they're better than any yj, TG or high school coach out there - neither one ever played but so full of themselves.

The "K" is for a last name that is the equivalent of a polish sausage. Formerly of TG-moving to YJ allegedly. Coaches Lady Rebels. Does that help?

2019 's need a lot of help. But they should start with the coaches and their bagage. Ever hear of addition by subtraction.

CK is the TG daddy coach that cut a deal to bring his 2019 & 2020 daughters and some friends from TG to YJ. He also coaches a tournament team called Lady Rebels.

2014 will be fine. Lots of good players who will now get to play as a team. Former poster is correct about addition by subtraction

I think that's a reference to the 2019 that left TG

"Coach Sausage" has two children a 2019 and a 2020, the funny thing he is listed as a coach on the 2020 team of which does not have a coaching problem. If he is so good at being a coach CR should have named him as a coach on the 2019 which has been a nightmare coaching wise from the get go!

No fall or winter league for TG, too bad. The girls enjoyed playing competition last year. Now we will simply have team practices at the expense of an additional $125.

You people complain about everything, why don't you leave? I have no problem with the girls having extra practices, and it's not very expensive either. There are a lot of new girls on TG and yes they need to play and practice together before the summer. If you do have a problem with the practices then don't send your daughter, no one if forcing you to. Damn if you do, damn if you don't. You b---- and whine about not enough practices, they listen and make the changes and you still have a problem. I'm sure you're probably the only person that has a problem with the extra practices. If nothing here on TG pleases you, you should leave and go elsewhere. $125 is still a great price for 8 additional team practices, where are at YJ you pay $200 for 5 sessions of the same thing. Maybe you should go there.

It is amazing...some people come on here last year and bash the fall and winter leagues. Competition sucks, they get nothing out of it...etc. Practice would be a better option.

Now they will be holding indoor practices and we get the opposite response.

That's right! I love it...Nothing wrong with practice. Would you like everything to be free? I'd rather the girls play together and learn and if that means I have to pay for it so be it. Not sure whyat other club has 16 additional team practice sessions on top of the 10 incl. if that's a problem for you, stay home!

You are a real loser. You can enter your daughter In as many tournaments as you wish on your own. You payed only for 5 summer tournaments, no need to complain. TG is under no obligation to provide a fall tournament for you or your daughter. You paid for 5 in the summer. You were just dying to jump on the forum and find a fault huh?

Don't show up then, sit home and complain and then wonder why your daughter still can't catch the ball.

super smart move by tg to have fall and winter team skill practices...and at $125 for 8 practices super cheap and adding some speed training into the mix...ask any college coach ..most important trait they are looking for is a skilled player period!

All things considered TG is still a relatively new club ( this is the 5th year ) I give them credit for trying something new this year. lets wait and see how this compares to what was offered last year before we start to bash the club.

Hey tool, go play for the YJ, their MS winter league is the exact same type of format (instruction and scrimmage), except they charge $250 per session.

I guess this person is sad that they can't scream go to goal every time their daughter touches the ball this winter. Indoor league was a complete waste of time.

I think it fantastic, Skills and speed and agility, TG is stepping it up.
Way better then playing town teams 26-0.

Working on skills is great, really need team coaches around to develope team play. And speed and agility is a joke, you might be able to shave a little time here and there on drills, but kids are born with speed and agility, not something you can teach.
