Top Guns Purple 2018 crushed Elevate B and C in 2013!!!
A 1 goal win from two summers ago - that's crushing? 2021 Black lost to Team Elevate. I do think TG will be more competitive this year. TG black teams are supposed to be good, in this age group that is not the case. Elevate pounding chest for beating this team is no real accomplishment. As far as TG being more competitive next year...sounds like they will be even less competitive. They are losing at least 3 from last year, including their best player (the one who played with the 2020 girls two seasons ago) (all going to YJ's). YJ's will be the best team in this age once the new girls come. YJ 2021 team will go close to undefeated next season. ok, move on. most of us don't care

Gotta be scratching ur head here, something just ain't right with the club.

Definitely knew about the top player leaving, that's a tough loss, did not hear of any others leaving, that rumor may not be true.

Do some of you people actually sit around the water cooler at work and talk about how great your 11 year old daughters lacrosse team is!? This is such a sad reflection on how we are raising our children.
So many of you are going to be so disappointed when you find out the athletic money is so little. You are better off at the water cooler talking about how smart your child is...that is where most of the money will come from.

You are better off at the water cooler talking about how smart your child is...that is where most of the money will come from. I am sure you are on target for many, but for some, lacrosse can be the differentiator for what level of school our child can attend. Just grades will not get you into the best schools, but grades and a lacrosse game can be the difference between a top 20 school or not. It is also about all the great things that competitive athletics teach your kids for life. Some folks are fortunate to not be worried about the money, but rather the develop of their child as a person and the opportunities they get early in life.

I don't know what you watched, but M&D 2021 has the best player at that age. Without question. Best at their positions? Funny how they both lost to M&D. One of the better players from 2021 is definetly gone (had the nerve to go to tryouts and Even accepted the invitation. Not sure if the parents will actually send in the deposit. My bet is they are stringing BS along, shame on him since BS supported him with his shaft business experiment)... A bit of a ball hog anyway. The team may suffer a short term loss, but overall it will help them to develop better. We will more than make up the loss of her by getting last year's purple goalie.

If you played for TG you would know that most teams are built around one or 2 girls holding the ball and and not passing it. The goal isn't to open anything up. So if one of those girls leave it does have a dramatic impact on the team.

This exists on many threads so this is not a shot at TG. Perhaps we can all raise the level of discussion. How do we collectively raise the level of all players on LI and have more girls irrespective of club and/or town play at the next level (or just have more fun at this level)?

They have rosters on their website. Not sure if they are the new teams. Funny how they boast about only 20 girls per team for recruiting years and they have at least 25 names on each team. Scouts won't see much when they play 4 minutes a half!

I am hoping the think is that 2 kids will turn down the invite and that will get them to 21 so I guess we will see how that plays out. You are correct as to what it says on the website.

my daughters team had 24 and she had no problem being recruited. Most coaches only need 4 or 5 min to know if she could play for them or not

24 girls works if you have the right balance of girls. 11 on, 11 off and 2 goalies. It doesn't work when you have too few defenders and too many girls that only want to play offense, which happens a lot.

I would assume next week the latest. You either paid on Monday or moved on. Even if they are attempting to personally keep players how much time are they going to invest for a few players to stay?
