What a moron, there were 2 locked in penalties during the Sons game. Be happy that you upset the Sons and made the semi's. Buckle up?? Are you serious?? 91 Titanium dad looking in the mirror with his shirt off as he rehearses what he is going to type on this site. Bahahahaha. Btw all the hits you are talking about were clean hits and no flags were thrown. One thing for sure when you come play 91 titanium you better buckle your chin strap they are going to hit you and try to line you up. there coach teaches hardcore nose to the ground lacrosse...and yes you keep bringing up they got this kid from that team that kid from this team. there coach is getting calls from kids on different teams every week and will continue to build a formidable team.. there is no doubt after the season 91 titanium has had they will continue to get better players and be one of the elite teams REAL SOON IF NOT ALREADY!!! they had looneys 3 to 2 with 6 mins left. get your facts straight if not for that kid getting hurt and delaying the game 40 mins they would of made it to the finals against 91 crush. AGAIN GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!! That is odd, because the score of that game was 4-2 Looney's

That Crush has won without their 3-4 key players...one of the great things about that team is that they have committed players who are always there

Didn't "quit" any teams. Still plays Smithtown and Legacy and also occasionally Sweetlax because his older brother plays on that team. He was asked to play for Crush a few times and it was all cleared with Legacy ahead of time, as they have two other excellent F/O kids. Why all the hate? Why do people care so much that a kid is exploring his options?

And West Islip's best player is on the Terps and doesn't play with the town team in the summer.

dLegacy didn't struggle to beat WI. If you were paying attention you wold have seen that after they were up by 4 they decided to give their other goalie a chance to play as well as their 2 attack man that don't get to play often. They also took a kid who has never done FO for them and let him take them. They put their long poles on offense. They didn't struggle, they just didn't run up the score with their starting players, they gave everyone a chance to play different positions.

This is a story about the insanity in youth baseball, but it is the same in youth lacrosse. Very interesting read! There is just as much craziness in elite ice hockey, soccer and basketball. All sports have become crazy. Kids just do not do the community team, everything is travel and competition teams- including cheerleading and dance for the girls, on top of all their sports teams. It is a culture and it is in fact crazy.

All but ONE tournament conflicted with Team Smithtown schedule. He played with Team Smithtown in all tournaments except one which was an add on. He played two tournaments with Sweetlax. One last fall and one a couple weeks ago where he played AGAINST Crush. Making connections and friendships with teams outside Long Island could be considered a good thing by some. He played with Legacy all season except the last tournament (Beach Bash) where he was released to play with Crush. Legacy also has several very good F/O players, and are not dependent on one. I hope this clears up any confusion. He does play a lot of lax on multiple team to gain experience, not to offend anyone.

You're out of you're F'in mind! WOW! Crazy! I was at NXT and watched this game. The 91 kids, coaches and parents are out of control. It starts with the organization. These boys are doing what they were taught to do and I can tell you that if they continue to play this way more kids are going to get hurt. This is not "hard nose" lacrosse. It's slashing, hitting from behind, hitting after the play is over. If they don't get called it doesn't mean it didn't happen!! You should take your son get him away from those coaches AND that organization. I am a LI parent who was embarrassed by the way you represent LI lacrosse. Get it together!! You are quite wrong about this team. I watched this game as well and saw a horribly officiated game that had major fouls by Looneys kids go uncalled. This led to an out of control game with slashing etc on both sides. Looneys parents and coach were way out of control. This behavior is not appropriate by either side but the 91 bashing is so slanted and untruthful concerning this team. Do you all mean to tell me all of a sudden after a full summer of many tournaments this team and their parents all of a sudden became this way. Not a single word about it until they beat Rising Sons and had this heated game with Looneys. The LI parent who commented should wake up and recognize that inappropriate behold at lax games is an epidemic and not exclusive to any region. Be a team player and stop embarrassing yourself or are you the Crush BBQ guy?

Btw all the hits you are talking about were clean hits and no flags were thrown. One thing for sure when you come play 91 titanium you better buckle your chin strap they are going to hit you and try to line you up. there coach teaches hardcore nose to the ground lacrosse...and yes you keep bringing up they got this kid from that team that kid from this team. there coach is getting calls from kids on different teams every week and will continue to build a formidable team.. there is no doubt after the season 91 titanium has had they will continue to get better players and be one of the elite teams REAL SOON IF NOT ALREADY!!! Here you go...they are up 16-2 with a couple on minutes left and that jerkoff coach calls a play and 22 goes behind his back as his coach cheers him on. WHAT A JOKE!!

When I read what this thread has degenerated into, it is enough to make me sick and take my kid out of lacrosse.

While I am not in favor of running up scores, it is always going to be part of the game if they use goal differential to place teams for play offs. One of my sons coaches is very against running up the score against a lesser team. We have been out of play off running, despite winning all games, because we go to passing around the ball rather than shooting. It is what it is, but at some level you have to play a game without letting up, or else you never get to play some of the better teams. Then watching the national teams play this week certainly wasn't teaching the kids to take it easy either- many lopsided scores for the kids to see. Again- I'm not in favor of it, but it's a 2 edged sword and my son had been on both ends, not fun either way.
