Viper definitely a top 10 team in the 2020 class - recent changes improved the team - agree that there is not enough depth yet to compete with top 4-6 teams but there are at least 6 kids that are "A" players. What was changed at this point of the tournament season? What does "recent changes" mean? Added/cut players, new coaches, etc?

What was terps vs titanium score in final game 10 7. Ask the terps if they had it easy. I bet they want no part of titanium again. They got lucky on the face offs with going early often. If it even gets to 50/50 the terps loose. This post must be from one of the idiot Titanium parents who were barking at the refs the entire game. There was really no comparison between the two teams, Terps would win 10 out of 10 times if they played. The score was 10-6 anyway and if face offs were 50/50 the Terps wouldn't LOSE. Go James!!

Not sure what you saw. 91 had a few garbage goals and a big attackman had one or two nice goals As far as going early on the faceoffs, you must be reacting to the Titanium coach. He screamed after every faceoff that the Terps kid jumped early. Did not see that. Terps kid was good and won most of the faceoffs. Someone said he was from Gardenn City. He played well.

Viper dad here. That's a bold claim. We are a good B team and the boys have come together because of their coach. They worked hard this weekend and deserved the win. We are not an A team and don't claim to be. Yes, we have some good players but please don't make statements like this.

Everyone seems to Crush the pass. But since they don't play any 2020 - how can anyone really say they are so far ahead of all the other teams if they don't play any of them. Is playing in the 2019 brackets really that much more challenging?

Anyone that singles out a 12 year old in a negative way is a [lacrosse]. The tough guy slamming the 91 f/o kid should get his [lacrosse] kicked. That kid works as hard as the others and has a great competition with the other top f/o kids. Keep it positive.

Is playing in the 2019 brackets really that much more challenging? Crush would consistently beat most or ALL local 2020 teams by 15 plus goals, except for maybe the 2020 Terps, and at this point in time are still somewhat further along in their development than the terps.

The reply I gave was based on an original statement on page 33 that listed Viper in the top 14 teams and said that teams 9 through 14 could win any B tournament. I'm not sure what statement you were upset about but I will still say that Viper would battle teams 7 through 14 on that chart.

Jesters beat the vipers in JDRF And they lost to mediocre town team at fl$, and got soundly beaten by the 91 C team this past weekend. You should stop before you open up Pandora's box with the Jester talk again.

Sportsmanship is still part of game. As they get older, college coaches won't be impressed when they shoot over their head and behind back when up 15 goals. Character is big part of what these coaches will be looking for as well as ability.

I was never a Crush fan I was never a fan of that coach But after watching them play this weekend against a much bigger, stronger, older ( 2 to 3 yrs older ) so called 2019 Laxachusetts team I have to admire them. Those little guys were getting physically pounded that whole game and they never backed down. They stuck their nose down and battled in every situation of that game. We were all very impressed with the tenacity of which they played. They left that field feeling very proud of themselves, which is more then I can say for those cheating bast***s from Boston ( But that's another story ). You might not always agree with how they do things but 1 thing is for sure. They come to play. I am a Crush fan now.

Well written Crush Dad. No one disputes they are talented. Doesn't justify beating anyone 22 to 0. It's disgraceful.

Agree, the big 3 certainly held their own and it was a fantastic game, was good to watch the Crush defense get some action as they didn't win 90%+ of the face offs. Crush played with a ton of heart and didn't back down even though they were getting hit hard by a real 2019 team (all of the laxachusetts players were 7th graders so let's stop the hate).

Agree on the crush/terps banter and every other team as well. Many of the boys are classmates and teammates in other sports. The coaches get along. Enough of the insults. You all don't realize how trivial this will seem in a few years.Long Island has two teams that represent Long Island lacrosse well. Good luck to the terps and crush at Young Guns this weekend.
