[quote=Anonymous]--Saw the SWR/WM team at Farmingdale yesterday, looked like they have some good players & were having fun playing, nice to see.
Bad move not playing for your own HS team in the fall. But at least they are playing so please tell them to:
work hard and average can become average keep a positive attitude be coachable be unselfish
Keep a positive enironment at home.
Thanks, --"
This doesn't sound like "One Town One Team" . Yes too bad not playing as a high school team that is cohesive, but when you have coaches that have secretly select a few kids to develop in the fall this is the model that kids follow. WM has never been one town one team.

Another reason to play club lacrosse. Most of the strong 2018 club teams would beat just about all of these teams.

The other teams are in league 2, they come together during playoffs. Teams from each league have to be at .500 to get in. It will make for a less competitive Suffolk A league IMO [quote=Anonymous]This league looks to be tougher than the MIAA.

Suffolk league 1 is garbage. League 2 is a very strong league and they should have just put Ward Melville into league 2 also so that all of the best teams are in it.

Ouch. So Ward Melville will play brentwood and WI will play deer park, but won't play each other?? How is that good for anyone? Normally those teams are so far apart in preseason ranking that they don't have to play each other. Div 3 looks like a competitive league. Div 4 not so much. Why the change???

How often does this change. I think if you want to make a power confercne there needs to be some switches here cant you see the obvious ones. Ward Melville Sachem/s Northport Copiague West Babylon North Babylon Deer Park if you want parity you need to move 2 top teams from League 2 to league 1. and moves 2 bottom teams from League 2 to league 1.

Who do you predict for county champs Suffolk A? I say Ward or Stown East. Will be a good battle. Any others coming up strong this season? I was thinking maybe the Hills or Sachem N. Not sure how many good players graduated there.

Was wondering if anyone saw any of the Hill Academy games, were they as dominant as in previous years?

West Islip will struggle but may surprise just like last year. No one gets by Smithtown East in Suffolk in 2015.

However, Smithtown West was virtually crowned state champs before the season and look what happened to them. Don't get too cocky. That is why they play the games.

Smithtown East - don't believe the hype - stay grounded and you have the tools to be state champs. Everyone must check their ego at the door and play as a team. Period. Just ask Smithtown West.....
