How does Titanium and Cyclones match up with Express Wolerines? Basically, I am asking for an opinion of Top 2020 Long Island teams after Crush. From what I've seen so far this year the top teams after crush and terps are Titanium True Blue Jesters Wolverines Tomahawks Viper Legacy Ravage Sorry Team LI but we haven't heard of any results from the tournaments you've attended

How does Titanium and Cyclones match up with Express Wolerines? Basically, I am asking for an opinion of Top 2020 Long Island teams after Crush. Legacy and fl$ are closing in on the Terps Legacy scrimmaged the Terps last week. Terps are a very solid team. They move the ball beautifuly. Legacy is not there yet, but have definately shown improvement from the fall. They have some very talented players. The boys and parents both enjoyed a fun night of lax with no drama!

No offence to Ravage, but they are not in this group. Leg Taz should be included. Really there are about 4 or 50 solid A teams, the B bracket is very large. If there weren't so many teams - probably there is enough higher skilled boys to make another A team. How does Titanium and Cyclones match up with Express Wolerines? Team LI lost to Crush 11-9 in the finals at Lax Splash. Clearly the 2nd best team there, but that tournament is a mixed bag of club teams and rec teams.

Graduating years are not age groups, being in 8th grade doesn't make you older then a 7th grade student, you could be a young 8th grader or an older 7th grader, both the same age, when the parents decided on when to send them to school is the factor.

Yes, but this discussion is about 2020 or 6th grade. Putting the Team LI squad that played Crush in this discussion about 2020 teams is ridiculous.

What about the Crush kids that are "in 6th grade" but older than some of the 7th graders on TLI? Weren't those kids left back so they would look like star players when they are really playing down?

Agreed. TLI U13 has no place in a discussion of 2020 teams. They played Crush in the U13 A bracket at Lax Splash. Crush won. Neither team played up or down because both are age appropriate for the tournament by US Lacrosse rules. TLI did not play at Ocean City. The brackets and results are available on their website.

Team LI plays by age, not by grade. Age is the appropriate and fair way to play.
Wait till you crush people go to MD and play crabs and the rest of the MD clubs. they all play by grade but leave their children back a year. So your little crush kid that is age appropriate for his current grade will be playing against kids a year plus older...all of a sudden you will wake up and see the truth.
Once boys hit puberty, that year difference means a lot in terms of strength and speed.
Unless of course, your little crush team is made up of left back boys now...

Sorry you are just not that good! Crush played the Crabs last weekend in the OC Beach Lax Tournament and beat them in the championship game. I think the score was 10-4 Look Team LI is not a bad team but why would your coach not to take face-offs in a championship game vs crush. Face-offs is part of the game, why should a team just be handed the ball. I can understand doing that in the early rounds but not in the finals.

I was at OC tournament w sons team watched Crush play Crabs in championship in ocean city. It was a blowout , and after being down 4 crabs also took the ball. Final in a short game was around 10-3 within their age there seems to still be a very significant gap. The AA part of this tournament in all grade levels was great
