The website says that they made it to the final and lost by 2. If that's terrible what adjective would you use for the question, how did Smash do?

How do you lose 13-0 to a team in your division in your second game and make it to the playoffs? United lost 13-0 in the second game and went 2-1.

They played bad that game and then ha a great day today. They lost 5-3 in championship to the team that beat smash in the semis. United was up 3-1 early . Great game . That's the update . It seems like your knocking them . Questioning their performance. If you wanted to see you should have been there . Where were you ? Firs erg beating up on lower competitive teams ?

Ha, sounds like a bitter 91 parent. 13-0 loss was just that they are young kids having a bad fame, no harm,, .the 5-3 loss needs to be qualified with "the team that beat smash in the semis" and then the slight to all other LI teams about playing in the fersberg.l...parents just uncomfortable in their own skin, their kids are good but not great and the parents are free king out.

No difference with the exception of the 5th grader JM took from his older team. United is a joke. You must be an angry Smash parent who couldn't stomach while walking to the parking lot , United playing in the championship. And the 5th grader who BTW was younger than most of the kids the Maryland teams , wasn't a factor. Is United better than Smash ? No. Did the boys play well on Sunday ? Yes. Get a grip you tool. Take your loss like a man . Oh wait did you play or was it the boys ? You think they care ? You probobly yelled at him the whole 5 hours on the way home and sent him straight to his room when you got home. Loser.

One of the dumber comments on here, but par for a united parent. Smash is much better than united. Only dumber comment is to admit you cheated by having a 5th grader and then thinking it's ok b/c he didn't really make a difference.

Guys Smash and united are u10 teams that played in a u11 bracket. The team that beat both of them us a u11 team that lost the week prior to team LI u11 team at the laxapalooza tournament. If united played with a 5th grader they were within the rules as long as he was born after 9/01/02. The tournament was not a grade based tourny.

Who cares? You are ALL losing site of what is important. Both sides sound rediculous! Maybe the adults should be looking to the kids as an example of how to act. Instead of arguing about which team is the best, you should have been paying attention to your kids. Yes, remember them? They were the ones out on the beach, in the pool, on the field, at the resteraunts, and guess what? They were all enjoying their time together! YES believe it or not both Smash kids and United kids were all having fun TOGETHER!! The parents here are the real issue. This is YOUTH lacrosse guys, come on, really!? These boys for the most part will continue to grow and play together for years to come regardless of what teams they play on. IF we are lucky enough. Let me put things in perspective for you ALL. They are KIDS!! If we are lucky the will grow to be HEALTHY, young men. Here are some names I know many of you have heard of, Nick Colleluori, Nate Greenberg, Thomas Napoli, Wyatt Klute, Steven Bartlett. If you don't know who they are look them up. Every day is a gift! Do you think it's important to their parents what youth lacrosse team they played on? Give it a rest! The things being said on here are disgusting. Look, we all watched this weekend, and ALL the kids played hard. Its the adults that are obsessing about it. The kids forgot about it the minute they stepped off the field and onto the beach. How about saying something positive once in a while. It looks pathetic for adults to feel better about themselves by putting down kids. Lead by example!

The Aloha Tournaments in Maryland named the age brackets with the same terms used by MYLA. 7/8 is U9, 9/10 is U11, 11/12 is U13 and 13/14 is U15. It is clearly spelled out on the websites for each tournament. For the 9/10 bracket at this tournament the kids needed to be born after August 31, 2002. The same requirement as US Lacrosse U11. It doesn't matter which grade they are in. Guys Smash and united are u10 teams that played in a u11 bracket. Nobody said anyone cheated. Point was that Smash and United were both true U10 teams playing in a U11 division. Fact is that they could go to this tournament again next year and play in U11 again. They both made the playoffs and lost close games to a very good team. Nothing to be ashamed of there.
