Huntington beats ESM today in OT. Huntington goalie outstanding like 20 saves or something. What a performance, best goalie I ever seen.

I would not say best goalie but she played good. ESM injuries really affecting their defense. Definitely weak spots on D now but their goalie is great!! I still see an ESM vs Huntington County Game let's hope ESM can put four solid defenders on field instead of 2 otherwise Huntington may take it again!!!

both teams played GREAT but if either coach thinks they can win a state championship without substituting at the midfield they are crazy!!! The midfield from both ends were barely functioning by game end!!! Manhasset subs every few minutes at the midfield position fresh legs means more stamina

Not only does it keep them in, it bumps them up to 6th at least. Which actually could be a curse because Huntington will overtake 2nd with their win at Sayville and could line up a Sayville Rocky Point rematch

ESM - Huntington
put these 2 teams together and they wont beat Manhaset.

ESM still has one of the best defenses on the island , there not lacking spots , only letting up 11 goals as the most in a game in the last two years ? That's amazing , they need to look past this lost and get stronger from it , I believe they will be a three time county champ

Who cares about ESM defense ... Huntington goalie played great. I dont know about Huntingtons degense but there goalie was outstanding. where is she going to college?

Would be great if we actually had subs, town program has driven everyone away. We have a great core but thats not enough we need bodies.

Question...I see that Mt Sinai has 17 wins.. I thought the season was capped at 16 games including non league, out of conference, MD teams etc..
(this is by no means a knock against them, Congrats on another undefeated season)
If I remember correctly our school ( to remain nameless cause were pretty bad) actually got in to the playoffs a few years back because the team in front of them played too many games??

Interesting because ESM and Sacred Heart also have 17 games. Does anyone know?

if your trying to get some press for your daughter "the goalie" its not going to work she doesn't compare to Mt. Sinai or ESM or even Sayville goalie for that matter.

Newsday has the New Canaan game listed twice. They only have 16 games.
