Most of the good Suffolk teams play in the Nassau PAL league -West Islip, Northport, SWR, Three Villages, etc. While the addition of these team is good for competition, it's actually kind of annoying for the Nassau teams who have to travel. There is almost always a conflict between the PAL Festival and the Start of Summer Travel Lacrosse. PAL Organization(Leadership for Lacrosse) really does not care,it is always brought up to run the Festival sooner so there is no conflict with Summer travel but it does not happen. Where did the kids, coaches and officials come up with the "modified" body check where as they touch two hands together on the stick and push the other player.
