M&D wins because they had to call out our goalie. Of course you scored in an open goal! The moms are going fool in the stands. Get a grip there was no goalie! The mom with the pom pom looks dense. Please act your age. LOL, they won by 2, so even if you took the empty netter away, you still lose. And you have to follow the rules. You coopermine snobs might be used to doing what you want, but the real world has real rules. Good on m&d for calling your keeper out. Maybe next time she will wear what is required and then you will have something else to cry about.

Please act your age. They won by 2, right? Sounds like that one goal didn’t matter. Also did your coach really send a goalie out not properly equipped but you are blaming the M&D parents. Sounds like a “your coach” problem. Put a kids safety at risk which is why the rule is in place to begin with. Didn’t watch the game but was a great tournament and the top bracket didn’t disappoint yet again. Congratulations M&D on a great fall.

Wondering what age you must stop cheering for you kid and her team with or without a pom pom? I guess your face might be in the dictionary next to sore lost. How about, wow the 2 best teams made it to the championship and both played some good lacrosse?!? Can't wait til our team pom pom order comes in!!!!

Any news from the mid-atlantic? This board seems to go quiet when heros and sw aren’t winning. Great lacrosse as always with these teams. M&D continues to show they are a step ahead of everyone else. CM looked great, beating Heros. Heros is still a top team and they'll figure it out, but they are definitely #3 in the region at this point. Tradition, MDU and Integrity are the in the next tier of solid teams, with SW being right behind them. A very talented, deep class of athletes!!

Any news from the mid-atlantic? This board seems to go quiet when heros and sw aren’t winning. SW is rarely winning. Just look at results this past weekend and this fall in general. Seems the talk should be about M&D, Coppermine, Heros and Integrity in that order.

They didn’t win a game this fall, it is lining up to be a rough year for them.

I agree MDU is loosing by a lot more to top teams then the other teams. If you look at the scores going 0-4 just look at how much they are losing by compared to a team like Aces and Tradition against the same teams .Wouldn't agree they are in the next tier of solid teams. Same with SW.

I checked in with my 2025 female goalie who said it @ChillLaxin that coaches didn’t ensure the pads were on. She thinks it should have been called out. And she’s grateful that the pads were in the bag and not at home. It’s confusing to a goalie when she was able to be pad less all day-but goalie uniform is goalie uniform at certain ages. It’s all going to be ok…

They beat Heros twice and played a tight game against M&D while missing their top middie. CM deserves to be in discussions for top team in the country and personally look forward to a chance to play them at full strength. They are well coached and talented.

I think this CM is the initials of the new MDU coach, not Coopermine. Coopermine is awesome, definitely top 5, probably top 3. Skilled offense, athletic and aggressive D, and a great goalie; can beat anyone. On MDU, it will be interesting to see if they can turn it around, but they just don’t have the horses from what I saw this weekend. They still have some decent players, but I don’t think they will be able to hang with the best teams anymore.

Don’t insult those teams by grouping them in with MDU and SW. Those two are toast. Next Level/M&D DC team should be in that mix but not SW or MDU.

Coppermine beat Heros and looks to be the #2 team in the region behind M&D at this point. Didn't know that M&D DC (Next Level) coach's initials were CM. They definitely have some great players and a very good goalie. I see them in the same tier as Tradition and Integrity but not yet in the mix with M&D, Coppermine and Heros.

At this age, the players know they need the proper equipment. It does not matter if you didn't get caught earlier in the day; it is still against the rules. Many refs just assume they are wearing it during tournament play. As they say, FAFO. And the coaches should be making sure their goalies have all of the necessary gear.
Any good coach will use it to their advantage when necessary. Just like calling out jewelry or a missing mouth guard.

Not in the Fall
M&D29 Black went 12-1-1. Top 29 team in country. NXT, Hero’s, LI Roar, Coppermine, Eagle Stix legit. Then big drop off.

Then big drop off. 16-1-1. 2-1 vs NXT, 1-0-1 vs Heros Green, 2-0 vs Coppermine Black, beat Eagle Stix, beat Integrity, and beat Aces. That is one epic fall, congrats to the M&D Black team! Definitely the best 2029 team this fall. It is hilarious looking at the rankings that just came out with the B bracket teams from LFTC getting ranked so high. Those teams would get smashed by the group you highlighted above, too bad YJ is too scared to play in the A bracket in decent tournaments.

M&D29 Black went 12-1-1. Top 29 team in country. NXT, Hero’s, LI Roar, Coppermine, Eagle Stix legit. Then big drop off. I would agree with this assessment but would throw Monster, Aces, TG and Integrity in the mix to round out the top 10. Some (LI parents) will argue YJ deserves mentioned however, they didn't enter the top bracket in a single tournament this fall; ducking the top teams. Playing 6 games with their only decent game being against Monster. Their ranking this fall, regardless of where they fall, will be misleading.

It’s all going to be ok… The club lacrosse rules, the tournament rules, and the ref's enforced rules need to get into alignment with this. League-wise, goalies requiring thigh pads is a rule that's only a year and a half old. The current rule is that thighs are required and shin guards are not. Previously, tournaments wrote their own rules about this. Some of those rules actually wrote the opposite- thigh pads optional, shin guards required. Some tournaments never changed the rule on their tournament website. Some never even seemed to inform the refs about these changes. We had a goalie on our team told that she needs shin guards. The rules didn't say that. Travel lacrosse didn't say that. Sure it happened before the game and she just threw some on, but what if the ref said this before a game winning free position shot? There needs to be an alignment.

Integrity, Aces, Tradition, Team 180. Your obsession with being #1 isnt lost on any of the parents from the other teams who all collectively agree that you are LAST in the country as far as parent fans go. You may say we are bitter and that you dont care but college coaches are already aware of your terrible reputation. get it together because the behavior only hurts your girls in the long run. the rest of us enjoy time on the sideline and see it as healthy competition and usually leave shaking hands and saying good game with opposing parents. How many times can someone say they left an M&D game with that experience.
