Primetime lost by 6 goals to Chucks (twice) and Igloo. But then beat Stealth by 4 goals another day. It just shows how any weekend, it's anyone's chip. This is one of the most evenly split, competitive age groups. Here’s another interesting FYI. Igloo hasn’t beaten the rebels in over 2 years. You guys played each other once last year. Don’t go popping top like you are on a six game run. That would be like saying here’s an interesting fyi, against chucks, prime time and all the Sweetlax teams the rebels were 3-6 overall last year and igloo was 10-0. It means nothing. You are both good teams and the comment you replied to is pretty accurate. The 31 class is very deep across the whole northeast and other areas of the country. Just enjoy it because it’s been shown that any of them can win on any weekend. The whole igloo/rebels squabbling is tiresome.

Rebels lack depth and have a sub-par defense. Maybe a small handful of their kids can play at the top level of this sport.

BBL Black On any given day, any of the top 15 teams can knock off any of the other top 15 teams. A.L.L. this weekend will provide more data points for the rankings. No chance this person has seen all these teams enough to rank them. Stick to the local teams that actually play each other and compete consistently.

So.. I’m hearing that the parents are already over the Spallina experiment at ECE. Left 91 to coach the 30’s had his kid and 2 other players playing up on 30’s. Took over as head coach of 31’s, brought the 3 kids back down to 31’s. Now the only parents happy are those 3. Little to no play time on a team that is now a rostered 27 and they don’t leave the field at all. I’m going to say it again. Daddy coaches should not be coaching their kids teams.Looks like that team is heading the way of 91. Doller better do something. Spallina a GREAT coach. ECE had a great weekend! 29’s 33’s and 34’s all delivered championships. Have another hot dog , slim . Interesting stuff, wait till it gets to the “if your kids not giving me what I need on the field then I’m going to pull them” meanwhile his is still in part of the show Eric Spallina should NEVER be allowed to coach another lax or hockey team and every family who has ever had a kid on one of his teams knows it. He does not care who he hurts or how the team performs—doesn’t even teach his own kid how to play the game properly.

The question is can teams good in elementary school stay on the AA tier into HS. Usually players will switch because of recruiting. And the recruiting track record at the likes of S2S, Express, Igloo and 91 is tops on Long Island. These clubs seem to provide the best exposure and have the best relationships and that’s why they get the most kids playing on the next level, again my opinion.

These clubs seem to provide the best exposure and have the best relationships and that’s why they get the most kids playing on the next level, again my opinion. “Opinion.” The fact is that those clubs work on getting “good/talented” players to play on their team, usually by having a director or “good” coach-coach. “Good/talented” players who are committed are worth a shot at playing at the next level. So if this (my opinion) deep 2031 class at any club has 1. “Good/talented” committed players (that’s players who come to practice, train, work on their game) 2. Good committed coaches then they will be recruited. The “relationships” are had between any club and colleges IF THE KIDS ARE GOOD ENOUGH. My true opinion - make sure your kid is good/committed, their coach is good/committed, and prioritize their develop. If you’re switching clubs because 1-2-3 classes ahead of you at another club had committed kids, you’re dense. Because all teams in any club are not created equal.

This guys rankings are a joke, applying inconsistent mathematical formulas, ignoring head to head match ups and overly reliant on a strength of schedule.
He was successful in one way, making fool lax parents (myself included) angry about 11/12 year old boys lax rankings.
Next Level is a worthy #1, won ALL this weekend, and no games were really close. Going back to the summer, they split with Towermen and lost to Igloo, tied and lost to Madlax last spring. Bad loss to Jersey express. Wouldn't be my number one, but has a resume that can support the ranking.
Igloo had a great fall until they fell to rival Rebels at NAL. This summer went 1-2 vs. Towermen, lost to 91 CO outlaws and madlax.
Rebels won saturday NAL, with fall losses to PrimeTime and Towermen. Over the summer 1-2 vs. Sweetlax Florida, losses to 2Way, PrimeTime and madlax.
Towermen with 3 fall losses, twice to Chucks and once to PrimeTime. Good win over Rebels. Big win at summer ALL championship, split with Next Level at Great 8. Lost to Igloo at Big Time.
Chucks with 4 fall losses, twice to rebels, sweetlax florida, and 91 CO Outlaws. I'' buy them as a top 15 team, top 5, not so sure yet.
Dukes lost to sweetlax florida (on the field, the fight during the game was a draw) and 91 CO Outlaws. Gets a ton of credit for win over Hawks (opp rating 94.43, which should have the Hawks at 14, but they are nowhere to be found in the rankings)
Sweetlax Florida has fall losses to 91 CO Outlaws, madlax, Next Level so far this fall, with a full day of games ahead. In the summer wins over madlax and stealth, losses to towermen and igloss with a tie against 2Way. Bad loss to S2S.
Orange Crush with 3 fall losses, Chucks, PrimeTime and Igloo. One win at NAL.
Madlax, hurt by games against Blue Claws, Hoco, and closer game against Predators. Won sunday NAL. Including spring/summer went 1-0-1 vs. Next Level, beat Igloo for NAL, beat Rebels 13-2, Chucks twice (12-3 & 11-4), split with sweetlax florida (won 9-4 in fall, lost 9-8 at NAL), defeated Orange Crush 14-2. At least he doesn't hold a grudge from the club nationals split.
91 CO Outlaws, two losses to rebels and madlax. Wins over Dukes, sweetlax florida, chucks.
These are just the inconsistencies from the top 10. Leaving out teams like Annapolis Hawks, Big 4 HHH Bird Dogs, Laxachusetts Black, West Coast Starz, Iron Horse Mongoose and Alcatraz Outlaws is laughable, (unless these teams disbanded). Crabs at 17 behind Louisville Kings Red and True Indiana Green...only 2 losses this fall to top 10 teams.

Be careful running to Express and 91 for recruiting. Ask the dads of older kids - many long-term local kids get pushed aside for out of state kids in the recruiting years. (“Won’t happen to my kid”…lol good luck with that).

Wow. I think you’re missing a big piece. It calculates your goal differential and strength of opponent. Losing a 1 goal game to a top 5 team is actually a good thing for your rating. It’ll all be okay. Try to take a breath.

For the gentleman venting his frustration about the ratings, give it a week. Things could look a little different after some things update. A bunch of teams played more games this weekend. Teams like the Hawks, BirdDogs, 91 Titans, Shore 2 Shore, Express East, who hadn't played enough games yet, did not receive a ranking. You also can't really let outcomes from last summer factor in. This is a new season, updated rosters, etc. Click on last season's tab to compare last season's ratings.

Need a LI or NYS Club Cup Championship. Only 2 levels A and AA. 3 game bracket then single elimination based on seeding. Use the new US Club Lax birthday cutoff so it is at least kids playing against kids around their age. Do not let a current club team run the event. Perhaps a sponsor like STX or a big brand.

Good luck. You can’t even PAL to agree to age. You would think they would at least go to age since they talk about fair play. Nope they are grade as well. And the only championships that people care about is the World Series in 7th grade. IMCLA event in December down in Florida, which has become a premiere event that every big HS Club attends, and the NLF & Alliance National Championships in July. Apart from, it’s just another tourney. That’s apex of competition in the club scene imho.

I don't know that the Jesters have had success against any AA teams yet, Losses to Leading Edge and Legacy. Titans and Express East Vitale should have played each other. There was a division comprised of mostly AA and a division mostly of solid A teams. Tournament directors had the winners of those divisions play each for 'championship'. Made no sense. Problem is 91 didn't schedule Vitale in their own AA division. Would have been better to have played that game as opposed to playing Jesters.
