Who is the team to beat for this age group?

Who cares .... 91 is flying in kids from Florida already on both teams at this age!

flying in doesn't bother me. If they are on the team they are on the team. Maybe the Florida programs aren't as good?

List of AA NY tournaments so far: (If I missed any please add)

Columbus Day - 91 LI won with a 4-0 record beating Towermen, Shore 2 Shore, East Coast Elite and Towermen again
Fall Jam - Team 91 LI won with a 4-0 record beating Set Lacrosse, Igloo, True Recon and 2way black
Pumpkin Shootout - Predators won with a 4-0 record beating True Garden State, BBL, True Westchester and Team 91 Tristate
Upstate Laxfest - Sweetlax won with a 3-0 record beating Orange Crush, Grizzly and Beast
Octoberfest - Predators won the black division with a 3-0 record beating LI Express, Shore 2 Shore and Be the Best. Express East Ferrara won the Orange division beating Legacy, Rebels and Express North
Igloo LI Elite Challenge is the next big tournament for this group on November 2nd, featuring 2way, Cavalry, LI Express and Igloo.

Definitely a number of good teams so far at this age level but 91 LI probably #1 in this area given strength of schedule

Why are the Rebels and Igloo so weak at this age? Rebels Raptors went 0-3 and Igloo went 1-2 with their only win over the Rebels. Outside of 91 LI who are the other good LI teams at this age?

You can't call them 91 LI if they're flying kids in ...... The 91 top team is a National Team at this age group.

They're babies. I really don't think 91 is flying in any 3rd graders. 91 has two solid 34 teams. Their B kids will move to Rebels & Igloo once they realize they prefer AA training and tournaments. Express hasn't even split into an A & B team yet. They're carrying a big roster and letting everyone play. Most players will find a permanent home by 4th/5th grade, in my opinion. Just enjoy this stage with your kid.

True recon is an excellent team at this age. I think they have only lost once since last year. They beat our Express East team, which i think is good, in the finals of the North Shore Invitational.

First, it's so early, it's not even funny. Team to beat?? LMAO. With that said, there are some kids with talent/potential. I've got a '34 and played some of these teams. I think 91 and True have the most talent at this very very early stage.
