Nice job guys.

I'm not a Crabs parent, but it's fall ball, relax. The vast majority of our team is playing football so practice 1x/week max, and some guys are taking the fall off entirely. Pretty much every piece of evidence points to seasonality being better for injury prevention and overall athleticism.

I enjoy dunking on Crabs and 91MD as much as anybody, and I agree. They shouldn't even have club rankings before March 1.

And thanks to clubs like Red Hots and Madlax, what do rankings even mean anymore when you're constantly shuffling players through rosters and calling the team a different name for different seasons. Yawn.

Everyone says that, but at the same time it seems over the last few years everyone is pretty tuned in to rankings. Fall games count the same from a ratings POV as the NLF national championship game. They aren’t weighted (they should be btw). As we get into 10th grade rankings only manner in the sense that higher ranked team gets seen more. Anyway always puzzled by this response as a team like the crabs is competitive and aspires to reach as high of a ranking as possible. Like it or not… fall losses don’t help!

Let him have his fun while he can. Spring and summer Crabs will smoke Brotherly love by a bigger margin.

You're puzzled by people keeping youth sports and meaningless rankings in perspective?

Or maybe the new coach is less than good. The team was iffy before the change, other than a couple of big holdback players.

Nothing about Crabs approach to club lacrosse plays into the philosophy that fall doesn’t matter.

Keep lying to yourselves crabs dads.

What in the Boys Latin education is that?

It is not as bad as people say, as a bunch of students who were rejected by Gilman go there . They help with test scores.

Exactly. A Quick Look over at Inside Lacrosse, and you get the rankings of the 3 respective DMV teams often discussed here. Madlax is firmly at the bottom in 3 of the 4 high school grade years, with the 2027 team the only one not in last place of the 3. In that year, they are ahead of the lowly 2027 DCE team. So in real terms— Madlax teams @ChillLaxin. And they are not winning. But keep patronizing that fool, maybe it’s working for you!

Exactly, MadLax is leading at every age group.

Or— last in all but one. But yeah.

Ok, CM is a buffoon.

Where are the 2028 HoCo teams playing this fall? NAL? Terp Classic? NLF?

BOTC back up and running?

Some great fields at Terp Classic and NAL next couple weekends.

But what happened to Crabs this weekend? New coach not jiving? They got run over up north

Madlax is the new sheriff in town. Whooped up on Clippers over the weekend. You can see it all on Instagram.

You better believe it. Madlax had themselves a day. The boys were buzzing!

Madlax went 0-3 today. Likely anothe 0-3 tomorrow. Tough for 39 kids to stand there and beat the brunt of that week in and week out… other than his son, of course, who never comes off

They went 0-2-1 and more like ~30-35 on the sidelines from what I could tell. But yeah the kid clung to the field like Velcro.

Why are there no scores in tourney machine for terrapin classic after the 10am games? Annoying.

Next Level went 1-5 this weekend. Some major issues there. Not sure if it’s a lack of talent, poor coaching, bloated roster or what… anyone from NL care to share? They lost to some borderline teams, too. 91 Charlotte, 4 Leaf, etc.

One of the borderline teams was beating Freedom at half, and tied with FCA at half, after playing a full schedule the day before (unlike FCA/Freedom), and flying in late Friday night. Maybe not so borderline? There's a world of lacrosse outside of MD. Also, fall ball....

I would disagree with this. ML lost 8-5 to Red Hots and 4-3 to Leading Edge. Yes, you want to win, but these games were competitive.

Why did an ML player get benched after a pass went to one of their attackman and said attackman lost the ball? I was there. Shouldn't the guy who dropped the pass get pulled? That organization confounds me.

Leading or tied at halftime in a running 20 minute half gets you…. NOTHING if you lose.

Can’t sugar coat this one. NL is in trouble.

Got boat raced by Dukes, tied a very average Thunder, and barely beat 91 MD (since a 3 goal differential is nothing, according to you when it’s RH).

I do you know who was “benched” when there is such a big roster. Seriously. Nice cover on the “I was there”. Who is your source? Or are you just full of BS?

They finished 2024 season as the top ranked DMV team. Turnaround is firmly in place
