Then why have AA,A,B brackets if nobody cares?
Let the teams be who they are. Parents pay to see their kid play not a kid from a different team fill in.
Maybe igloo wants to see how they do against dune dogs without help from the former lumberjacks

If your kid is a competitor, I'd think he'd relish the opportunity to test himself against some AA kids. I'm not saying go play the Red Hots, but a couple of kids . . . relax. The problem is that dad wants to puff his chest about fall ball W's. You're in HS now . . . you're gonna realize soon that wins and losses in club matter even less than they used to.

Where did the rebel kids go if there's no team?

They have 2 teams at this age. They had 3 but the Black Team folded. Some of those kids are on Chrome and a few may be playing 2027. One went to Venom, a few went to BTB and LEG/Rush i was told. Rebels kids from this age group are all over the majority of the top teams. Some left a few years ago and they lost kids every year.

Black team folded, so Chrome is a B team?

Correct
They could not have mishandled the 28 age group worse

It would seem the other team wanted to puff the chest That’s why they grabbed those players.

That’s not really true. Piece by piece kids left for various reasons. None of which was due to mishandling.

They are probably glad you’re gone. Entitled parents are the worst. Absolute sideline cancer.

Better off with only a B team? Bottom line isn’t better off.

Last year they had about 12 players that would show up consistently. They have more on their top team then they ever had plus a dedicated Coaching staff. Their bottom line is fine.

Hello BOTC...question about tournaments.
When brackets come out, is there a way to determine what bracket has the best competition? Is bracket A always the top tier teams (some of them I've never heard of) and bracket C/D are the lower levels of competition? Son is playing for S2S, never played travel before (late bloomer). Thanks for the info.

C and D would hurt people’s feelings
It’s usually AA and A
Or A and B
I’m sure you can figure out which is top teams. Good luck.

No I think they mean brackets within standings. For example NAL brackets are based on US Club Lax rankings from last year. But not every tournament is done that way. Just depends…

Cool your jets
Let’s unpack this. “Top” team is basically the red wolves because the hydra/ black team got out of dodge. They have more players because after losing almost the entire hydra team the remaining players merged with the remaining red wolves thus now having more kids. Hopefully the coaching staff is now dedicated because last year it was not.
Had friends on the team and their sons were miserable. Some kids left mid season.
Good luck to you and your son

Point being? Your friend’s kid bailed on his teammates and you show an excess of concern for a team you had no connection to. Most of the players that jumped ship followed their town cliques to other teams. All were easily replaced after they bolted for greener pastures. Keep unpacking.

what I'm asking about is upcoming tournaments in DE. There's several brackets, and each bracket has 5-6 teams. Are those brackets set up equally, or are the top teams in bracket A, then lower level teams complete against each other in brackets B, C, D, etc.?

Ok I misinterpreted. The other person who replied is correct. The brackets are set up top to bottom. A being best with the most amount of holdbacks, and it goes down from there
