Calling out holdbacks in kindergarten as a problem like a parent did it for lacrosse….and even if they did why not,, ever read the book Outliers….talks about how the older kids in the class get all the opportunities and generally rise to the top, so yea why have your kid fight from behind from day 1,.,,,remember as parents its your job to put your kid in the best position to be successful. Youth lacrosse is a stop over on the journey of life. Learn to get ahead and get on with life……yea yea keyboard cowboys. Held my kid back because he went through puberty 1.5 years after his classmates…..but if up to all of you clowns he should just stay where he is and be mediocre. Not in this house, we man up and make stuff happen…Top d1 here we come!

My son is on Orange, sold a bill of goods with black. We are ok, not great, disappointed

They played in the B bracket let’s not give them a trophy yet. Sounds like the kid from out of state was the dominant player for black without him they struggled a bit

Out of state, in state, reclass, holdback, on age. None of it matters any more. This weekend should have proven that to everyone.

Kids have to go out, play and compete. And if they can’t keep up, they will be replaced. Sad, but true at this level.

They also had kids from Black playing on their team. Any team that should be in the AA bracket would have done well too.

Came back from 5 down to force OT against Express. Lost in OT against Fusion. Besides the first half of the Express game, i’d say it wasn’t all bad. But that’s just my opinion.
I guess if you’re just looking to stir up nonsense and chest pound from the Express sideline, it was a tough day.

2 losses, including Express. Cant be happy with that.

Without the out of state players for chaos, it wouldn’t have been a game at all, even with the injuries on both sides.

So isn’t it travel? I didn’t know it’s travel but only Long Island?
And one CoachC team played in the A and lost to the best team in the nation and beat the #5 team in the nation. And the 2nd team, the B team, played in B. Not their fault if the competition wasn’t on par.

Players from the "A" team also played on the "B" team. They were all under the impression they would also be playing on a AA team.

Oh, and no player that got any meaningful minutes in the black games played in the orange games. Excluding goalies and fogos.

Chaos played fusion better than express did, took it to OT and were up 4-2 at one point. If 91 has played both halves the same, it would’ve been like the previous years, a BLOWOUT.

Sorry, but there's no moral victories in sports. 1-2 for a "top team" is not a good day.

Can’t you also argue if express played the same way in both halves it would have been a blowout?

Can you also teach me how to watch 2 games that are on fields far from each other at the same time?

You should not be allowed to play on two different teams, in the same age group, in the same tournament. Cheating is cheating!! Express Orange was moved to the A bracket so their parents hopefully wouldn't complain as much since they won the bracket championship, but weren't on the team they were told they would be on. Doesn't look good for an organization at all. The only thing it showed was how pathetic they are to go to such lengths to win in an 8th grade boys lacrosse tournament.

We can argue alot of things. But anyone who expected or believed it would end in a blowout is being disingenuous. 1-3 goal difference is all anyone should expect. We’re just insulting these kids if we’re saying one team can’t actually run with the other at this point. Both teams have some new players, and some really good ones from first looks. Both teams had excellent players injured and sitting. This competition is only going to get tighter.

I’m still trying to figure out how we can call these three teams “club teams”.

Call them whatever you want. They are not going anywhere and they’ll be at the top of the competitive ladder till high school graduation. Now we’re just waiting for 91 to bring their reclasses down and have their own Black/Orange type situation.

Relax Express Dad, your kid may be the next one on the Orange team when they pull down a holdback or Fly someone in. Dont get too comfortable.

Finally, a logical statement and positive as well. Kudos to both teams, and some of these parents on both sides are just troublemakers. Or, parents from other organizations posing as parents from either Express or 91 just to stir the pot.

Might not be any reclasses or fly ins left. Express brought the kitchen sink this weekend.

That’s just this season so far. If we know anything about Express is that the roster is fluid and anyone can be added at anytime.

That is the #1 team in the nation.

Not true, only 2 players from Futures still on Nationals. There are actually more Nationals players on Express Black.....

The two out of state kids for 91, one of them has been on the team since basicially first grade, the other is a d middie from colorado that played on the 91 National team with one of the coaches. The number 60 kid from CoachC, had 4 out of 6 of their goals, one of the other two came from a reclass, I really do not understand how all these Express parents can even garbage talk even more while their kid is handing out waters on the bench.

Express coaching > 91 coaching

When does 91 bring down their LI reclasses?

Next season.

Then they take starting spots away from the true 2029’s when recruiting starts, got it.

Why are Rebels playing a B schedule this weekend?

VA kid has been on team for a few years maybe 4-5 tops. 91 used to have a kid fly in from FL a few years ago but he didn’t pan out. New LSM that scored is not from LI. Express had 2 players score goals including game winner by 91 “castoffs”. #60 only had 2 goals. But teams are essentially evenly matched including injured players. Gonna be a good rivalry even with reclass players for both clubs coming.

Is that better or worse than showing up this past weekend and taking spots from true 2029’s and pushing them to the Orange team?

Reclasses are only coming for 91. Express brought their reclasses this past weekend.

There will be more reclasses for Express. They just may not come from New York.

I guess good for the “cast-offs”
