My daughter just received her invite to BIC this morning.
Congrats, what position?
Is anyone able to share the count so far for each position for BIC?
I can only see the attach roster and there are 39.
Do you know how many are local?

That seems low knowing all the players in the area at the 28 age group versus other areas. More than half the top teams are Maryland/DC based. The other areas can’t compete at this age.
That's just for attack, I imagine some of the other positions might see more Midatlantic representation. That said there does seem to be some effort to represent other regions which might mean that some of the local talent gets left out even though they may be better than a player from another area.
Middies have 9 local out of the 56
Now that seems low as well. Guess it's not just attack.

Last year for 27s Heros had 11 girls just by themselves. Was probably about 1/3 DMV

Interested in insight about how high school lacrosse programs work. My DD's program hasn't done anything yet, but I hear about other schools, other spring teams, boys programs, etc already getting out on the field or in the weight room. Is there a norm and if so what is it? Do public schools do things differently than private?
