Per MIAA rules not allowed to do anything at this time.

I know it's been a joke around here of late, but my partner at work is a pretty involved Gilman alum and he's legitimately concerned and angry because the school, as he said, is "headed down the path of Friends School," deemphasizing sports, handcuffing coaches with zero recruiting, and really limiting admissions slots.
Sad if it's true. detest to see an OG MSA team disappear from relevance, but not like it's really a surprise, the way things have been going over there.

Arent most of MIAA schools becoming woke and woke . Just a sign of times and not getting better for sports. Now if you want a DEI career, Gillman is your school along with most MIAA schools.

Do people on this website really think the hounds are going anywhere this year?? I'll stick with MM and his Eagles, thanks. And yes, MM owns McD and the entire state of Maryland.

Hounds are back ! Well at least to the loyal faithful who are delusional.

This year it will be more of same. McD, BL, CH , AS at the end being on top with Gilly, StP, LB maybe surprising us with being better than one of those at end.

And to follow up. Yes MM is a great Coach and is the guy pulling strings at McD ! Does anyone sane person think different ?

Gilman’s coach is 100 times a better coach than MM.
He told me so!

StP will have some of the best talent in the league.

Worst thing that happened to the Hounds in their entire history was 6/7 years ago. The famous and great MM was an assistant coach there. Getting ready for the wonder child to make his appearance and be lead by him. MM saw writing on wall at Gilman, heldback wonder child and cut a deal with McD to provide a MIAA championship with his players as long as wonder child started in 9th. And the rest is history as they say. Worked out well for MM, Wonder child and McD.

I don't understand the what this post is about other than baseless detest and, oddly, jealousy. It worked out because all were skilled and knowledgeable in lax, and that was recognized by many others which helped in recruiting. That's what every top school wants. MM and wonder children and many recruits successfully did it. Good for them.

Not sure what you are reading there Mark. Looks to me he says the same thing. Worked out well for you and the BW and of course McD. All three got what they wanted ?? So what is the issue ? You were also assistant coach there at Gilman and there was a holdback that was needed, so what the beef ??

MM coaching is the upper tier here. We have plenty of MIAA options but MM delivers in club.

There is not a single coach in the MIAA that could out coach Mark Millon.

People forget the choke job McD did repeatedly from 2018-2021.

Before Loyola took the crown, McD was the poster child for doing the least with the most talent.

If only the Millions and Co would have gone to Gilman, then Loyola wouldnt look so bad .

McD did less with more talent than any other MIAA teams for years prior to the MM empire coming to town.

McD should hand MM the golden trophy for title, not the coaching staff. He has more to do with it then they do, And that is a fact !
