Latest on which teams improved after tryouts??

So did Igloo and Legacy merge ??

YJ B &C teams definitely got better. Jesters may be (gotten a bunch of Tradition kids) but honestly not sure if they will be sitting on bench. 91 improved also. Not sure about TG since they keep recycling the bench kids, so could be the same. Igloo may be the same.

Igloo seems to be fairly quiet lately. What's happening?

I think YJ B lost 2 top players. Not sure what they added

YJ A lost some girls too. Lack of quality coaching/training is to blame. Some parents know that those things are more important than a brand.

M&D parents how do we feel about these rankings

If they are smart, the realize that rankings mean absolutely nothing.

Big addition to Jesters from Igloo over the weekend.

I wouldn't necessarily fault anyone to be on 3 teams in 3 years. All these teams have shortfalls and you want your kid to be a good fit. So, that doesn't really tell me anything.

In elementary school, not a big deal. However in 8th,9th and 10th grade, that would be a massive red flag.

Thoughts on LILJ 2030 watch list?

Seems like Jesters is taking a lot of kids this year. Everyone is saying they are going to Jesters Black. Not only this age group. What's happening? How big is the roster going to be?

Pay for play, plain and simple.

Think it’s mostly YJ given 6 out of the 10 goalies selected. but I guess it makes sense since the top 2 YJ teams are solid. Think non YJ players should be proud

So Jesters is following YJ lead and switching their teams based on the name of the coach. Which one is the A team?

If you didn’t pay Wink anything you don’t get on their list unless you’re a student HS player. You must be a coach or have some contacts bringing other girls to his pay to play and get highlighted events.

Sorry to prove you wrong but you are. I'm just a dad of a 12yo (it's dense to even have 'watch lists' already). I do have a 2025 but I don't know that Wink even knows they are related.

Watch list is a joke 3 girls on attack from that list were cut from their teams this year. Others are girls on second YJ teams or backups on the Babst team that don’t even play

From an outsider… a watch list at 2030 is terrible and honestly sets unnecessary pressure on girls at an age when it means nothing. There is a reason the actually watch list from reputable publications don’t come out till going into recruiting year.

Completely agree. That's creating a lot of "individual" mentality rather than team play. What makes it worse is that
the list is truly a joke - most of Igloo are on it, quite of few of FLG, lots of YJ as usual (deservingly or not), some kids that don't even get playing time on a B/C team are on it while others are not.... My kid is on it (didn't pay wink) along with most of her teammates and we are not an A team.

We are ranked and graded our entire lives. I tell my kid this list is trivial but get used to being ranked and graded. If not now, then when will they be ready… 18yo.. in their mid 20s? In there 30s?

What are you teaching your daughters if you act like a baby when she isn't listed on this stuff?

Trying to create a correct list here are those clubs with the number of commits to "top 25" academic schools over last 4 years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)

1. Jesters (4)
2. Igloo (0)
3. Top Guns (25)
4. Team 91 (0)
5. Tradition (3)
6. Liberty (15)

Top 25 academic will get lots of discussion/disagreement I went with us news top 30 national university plus top 30 liberal arts

Of course, Igloo just started and has zero recruiting classes while Tradition has only had one class.

also I'm sure I missed a few here and there so please add.

Understanding you want to focus "academic" and ignore the syracuse/BC kind of NCAA final contenders. But curious why do you exclude Yellow Jackets and Legacy or even FLG (who has a few) but keep Igloo and 91 on the list? Also, why wouldn't you look at 2026 commits. Jesters and TG both have a very strong year and as a new club, Tradition has a Yale 2026 commit.

Why are we talking about this theyre in 7th grade...let your kid enjoy the ride.
