Private schools are what’s killing NLF? Lolol Okay, buddy - NLF has always been loaded w/ private school kids, nice try. HS is hugely important but NLF gets you the exposure you need “, that’s a fact. ' What is going on with the kids who were not seen at the NLF landing all the big commitments? Seems that other tournaments are providing "the exposure you need."

Spot on. 2026 Team Ten has at least 7 high level D1 commitments so far, one just committed to Duke, and at least 15 more players on that team will also commit to high level D1 schools when it's all said and done. All the NLF propoganda is getting debunked on a daily basis at this point as more and more commitments roll in. As a player, if you have the talent and skills to play high level college lacrosse, college coaches will most likely find you. You will increase your odds of getting found by playing for a club team that competes in at least one or two the top tournaments (NAL, Great 8, Sweetlax Challenge, NLF, Millon, Naptown, etc), it does not need to be an NLF team, going to show cases and participating in the All American games (Nike & New Balance)

If your son is a top player , you may want to reach out to the travel clubs in your area and explain your financial situation. Some of the travel clubs in our area have scholarships. I’m sure they may consider, if he is a good player, who can contribute to their team. Collect some film / video of him playing. Get a letter from his rec. league coach. You may still need to pay for travel expense, but not the club fees and tournament fees. It really can’t hurt to ask. I hope your son gets a chance to play at the next level! Good Luck! So many “rich kids” take all of it for granted! Many don’t even seem like they want to be there. I wanted to follow up and thank you. I talked to a travel coach and he invited my son to go to a practice to see if it was something he would be interested. He said we could talk about payment if my son is a good fit and vice/versa for the team. It's good to know not all travel programs are money grabbers and want kids to enjoy the game.

That’s great for top level talent - everyone knows why Ben McCarthy got recruited. We alls we BB from Springfield going to MD. But for the next tier and the tier after, NLF does matter. You can’t point to a few beasts and say “see told you so” Besides the rare occasional outlier, NLF matters. The only one it doesnt matter to is the one who cant play on a NLF team. Get better and get on NLF or be left behind, Sorry, that is what it is. Or be in NLF and do not play against best teams in NLF tourney's because NLF will not let them in their tourney's. Team Ten 26's beat all NLF Teams and Team Ten 27 just beat LI Machine 27 this summer along with Leading Edge. Comical yeah NLF is the best. Keep lying to yourselves and your kids. Momma always said never take advice from an angry woman,Go down to Barbaras nails,Tell them we sent you,You get good price. Thanks for the laugh, funny.

Expect at least 20 commitments on that team to high level D1 schools. Not to mention the top ranked philly player coming out of high school over the past 5 years mostly came from non NLF teams. This whole narrative that you need the NLF to get recruited has been debunked numerous times at this point. When will you stop spewing nonsense?

There are other avenues and other tournaments that are brining in talent and you don't need to be in the NLF any more. The idea that the NLF championship is the end all be all of tournaments is wrong. And this is quite obvious since the Top NLF teams actually go to the NAL tournaments. The only NLF team that does not attend non-NLF tournaments is HHH. Express, Team 91, 2Way, Mad Dog all go to non-NLF tournaments and there is a reason for it. You don't need to be NLF any more. Team Ten. Brotherly Love, Mesa will all start to have more recruits than the one NLF team in our area.

The overall thing I notice is Philly area is getting stronger and stronger in lacrosse. I know references to it but if you paid attention to Haverford School, Malvern and Salesianium the last couple years you will see they are beating all top high schools. St. Anthony's, McDonogh, Boys Latin, etc all have losses to Haverford and Malvern.

Couldn't resist posting this in multiple forums.
Son attended a DI prospect camp in Philadelphia this month, he already attended three different DI prospect camps last year (2 upstate NY and 1 just outside of Philadelphia), so we do have some experience. Won't name the School, but the program has 3 scheduled (Sept. Oct & Dec) camps. Compared to our other experiences, this Head Coach was barely involved. He just watched the games from the sidelines while his attention was divided between the games and his phone.
There was NO interaction with the players during the games. Again, this was completely different from other camps we attended. At least the other program's camps, the Head coach was on the field, directing the games, gave the appearance that the coach was actually evaluating the players.
OK, camp is over and there is nothing; Time to move on. Which is fine.
But, to add insult to injury, we just received an email from the staff encouraging our son to attend one of their remaining, upcoming camps (Oct/Dec). This just reinforces my assessment that this program is conducting their multiple camps, SOLEY as a money grab.

Unfortunately for HHH it seems the end is near. The club that somehow both “develops” players and seemingly begs for kids to come to their club in HS for the NLF has some serious issues.
They have not updated their website in years. Social media is crickets besides the Birddogs. Saying the 2025 and 2026 team is #1 in the state on their website is laughable.
Their 2026 team finished ranked 51 and 2027 finished ranked 52. Liam Banks 2025 was awesome, a bit of Anomaly as they like to say.
2027 TT and BL will lead the way with commits. 2028 Freedom, BL and Dukes looked primed for big recruiting years ahead. 2029 Futures is the #1 team in the country.
2028 HHH is ranked 355, 2029 is 249. BL, TT, Freedom and Dukes have all shown over the last 3-4 years you do not need NLF to go big time D1. No one is leaving anymore for that reason, if that was ever the case.
The questions folks should be asking is if the 31 BM team will stay together when the pipeline is dried up with few if any recruits going D1 in the 2027, 2028, 2029 classes.

I am not saying those kids are not good who get ranked but there is not much difference in most of these kids who play at the top level. If you are D1 you are D1 and time will tell who does best in college.

HHH has been around forever and I don’t see BM selling out anytime soon. Dukes - BPG rips people off, Dukes have same coaches doing all different years for $$$ Outside of 28s, Freedom is irrelevant. Team ten? Done after 27s Mesa? lol NXT - good program, no daddy ball but doesn’t play enough big tourneys Fusion - 29 and that’s it Argue all you want about HHH youth, other clubs ain’t much better

I hope people don't keep trusting you and have their kids loose the ability to play high level lacrosse.

No one cares about these arguments except for HHH. The program charging more than other clubs and delivering way less for years (feel bad for those families). Love seeing BM getting active on the boards again!
Looks like TT 28s picked up some strong players as well as BL. Freedom is ranked ahead of HHH in basically every grade level, and consistently sends kids to top schools.
HHHs best remaining class was this 2026 team that went 15-16 on the year and lost to New England Twisters, Fusion West Canada, and T91 South at the big bad NLF. They rarely had games against top teams like a LI Express because when they did they got blown out 14-3.
At least they played 30 games. The 2028 team played 18 and the 2029 team played 17. The 2030 team doesn’t even show up on the rankings. But, hey, you could play for the special Birddogs and get 100 practices and 50 games, while paying as much as everyone else in the program!

No club in Philly area offers a good enough program to be strong at every age group. It’s always year to year. Dukes has the best overall youth teams, while BL, Team Ten and HHH typically have the better high school teams.

Fusion 2029one off approach will work. Could this lead to new things at Fusion? Fusion coaching is top of the line model. Like Ferrari Fusion is. What success they are having already. And Freedom is commended for developing a very fine 2028 group. Will Brotherly Love buy these fine lines and own ths market. How to be such a time in lacrosse.

Best of Brotherly love 2027, freedom 2028, Fusion 2029, HHH2030 , HHH 2031. Most accurate by year yet you need to add HHH for 2032. Other than that accurate analysis. Brotherly Love and HHH youth are committed to developing the youth. That explains the foundation to those programs. Will pay off in spades for their future high school programs. Laughable insight on HHH youth “program”. Maybe Birddogs. Not a single other team or age group. Check the records for yourself. Arguable the worst youth development program around . Let’s just say those other teams are like Goose in everybody’s favorite fighter pilot movie.
