Well hopefully SW parents will get over it. Bottom line is that WI won and SW lost.

The real question is why was a country championship played at a home field. Absolutely ridiculous. Section X1 should be ashamed of themselves!

It just so happens that it worked out that way. Not sure of timing but say a year ago section XI put out feelers on what school would like to host. WI put in a bid to host and won. Fast fwd to this year. If WI didnt make the playoffs no harm no foul. BUT they did make the playoffs in the same year they won the bid to host the finals

Its like if the metlife put in a bid to host a super bowl next year and the jets just happened to make the playoffs and got to the super bowl…no collusion or funny business its just how the ball bounced and lined up in WI favor

The girls lacrosse Nassau Class C final between Manhasset and Wantagh has been postponed to 2 p.m. tomorrow. Wantagh leads 7-5 with 6:56 left in the third quarter

Also, in the prior game, Garden City won its fourth straight Nassau Class B championship and 23rd county title in program history.

Should not be at any HS! College fields and the door charge covers the cost. Just like Catholic league does.

WI had no idea they were getting to the county game when they put there interest in. They got lucky and good for them. STOP CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely not crying. My daughter was not playing, and I didn’t really care who won. I do find ridiculous though. The venue should have been changed immediately when WI made the final. It diminishes their accomplishment. Not right!

Problem is "best" means different things to different people. What things are important to you?

All your coach did was cry all game. No charge at the end of the game. Never should have been a yellow at the half. Home Job.

While SW coach looked shell shocked and overmatched. The flopping game plan didn’t work as hoped…although it did take away a WI goal and put a girl in the box for 2 min.

Wantagh parents complaining…guess your coach secured herself another year at helm with that W against Manhasset.

My daughters soccer team played shoreham for the counties our AD fought to have the game changed at a neutral site and they did it. Shoreham hosted the LIC and played in it. So they had home field for LIC and would have had it for counties

Flopping did you see the last call of the of the game against west. Kid was tackled. Your not being honest watch the film.

Goalies were amazing on both sides. Congratulations to both teams!

Dang I thought Pequa over WM was big upset and then WI takes down GC! Great job by all the girls playing today.

Possibly biggest upset ever on the girls side!

Wantagh parents can start complaining about their coach again! She left the senior goalie out to dry in the first half on the short end of a 9-2 first half. Made a Couple of adjustments and a switch in cage at the half & the lone bright spot of their day was the sophomore goalie.

They were definitely upsets, WI being a huge one. But that's why you play the games. Anything can happen.

Who won the LI Championships is their respective divisions?

It’s great to see SA’s quickly evolving into a LILJ subsidiary. Ownership is now entering 2nd year on girls varsity coaching staff while advertising training clinics and HS and college tune-up training sessions (season is still 4-6 months away) while wearing SA apparel to continue spreading their reach across the lax community and stockpiling $$$$. Hopefully, LILJ is donating some of those $$ rewards back to the athletic complex improvements going on at SA’s.

Lucky to be in a top district in Nassau that is consistently successful in the power conference and in the LI championships BUT would point parents to Sacred Heart Academy as another option if you are looking to go private. More experienced and credentialed head coaching plus collegiate training. Would say that she is the most qualified HS coach on Long Island.

Does anyone know anything about a new NIL tournament being run by LM (using initials here in case not allowed) Apparently $100k in NIL. 32 team National HS championship in PA. Details seem sparse but 32 team tournament next June. Also wondering if anyone knows of any HS applying?

Has anyone ever had issues with trainer no showing to sessions. paid for sessions up front for a goalie trainer. Adult female, Mid 30s, played D1, based in Suffolk. Owes us 14 sessions (tried to be understanding person and purchase upfront as she seemed to be going through tough times). She has gone silent and MIA for the past 2 weeks. Has no showed in the past and always get excuses from her… flat tire, accident, doctor, mixed up schedule etc. She says no one forced us to pay for sessions upfront lol. How public would you make this? She pretty much stole money from us. Not returning calls, emails or instagram messages. What would u do? Legal route (attorney in home), public notice on social media (tagging of her club, college, an other clubs to stay away etc)? What would you do?

Ask her to return money in two weeks or you go public with her stealing your money. If no money, Social Media , Post about it to everyone, doubt it does anything , but at least maybe others will not make mistake. Sounds like a real piece of @ChillLaxin.
