Everyone knows what it’s about … it’s parents and HS is not the kids making moves … parents who are sending or thinking of sending to the catholic schools are being told it’s the only way your kid will get there is by playing for express or 91 that’s the truth so just another function of LI lax scene. The kids aren’t leaving the parents are . Again it’s not about the kids .

90% of the starting Igloo offense walked.Then some second tier player's.Around 10 -12 total.Thats without cutting any of them.So yeah something had to of happened.We played them and it just seemed parents were unhappy with coaches decisions during the game.They have a couple of dad coaches also.Do not know any of the parents personally but that was a very good team.At the end of the day it has to be something with the coaches.Its their job to keep teams together.

Only a couple of kids went to express. One to 91 which only happened in the past week. Multiple went to Rebels. I don’t think this is a Catholic school thing. Maybe the 2 kids that went to express and got some compensation. 91 can’t make promises for Catholic School and neither can Rebels. Both schools are dominated by Express staff.

Nothing personal but why leave for Rebels? I get the 91/Express thing but Rebels?

Kid who went to 91 won’t last long there if he wants top tier playing time. Maybe this upcoming season, but starting in 9th he may be looking for another club. Total shock that he went there and waited so long to make a decision. 91 probably pursued and threw $ at his family to get an offensive player. He would’ve continued to blossom on Igloo being their main offensive option.

If you want to see the field at St. Anthony's you have to play for Express. The math is simple.

It’s really as simple as it’s a place where the best kids get on the field regardless of what club they play for. Just so happens the best kids usually play for 91 or Express and that’s who dominates their starting lineups.

Not even close to true. Starters at every level (JVB/JVA/V) from 91 and S2S at St. Ant's...

If the kid is lights out, he will play for St. As, regardless of which club he plays for. Like the previous post mentioned, it just so happens that the best LI HS players generally play for Express and 91

By summer season he will be one of the kids with most playing time.

He won’t play much at 91. Next season he will leave or sit the bench. Out of state and reclasses start next year. Express and 91 will look much different come 9th grade.

I’m sure that was a promise to seal the deal. By “summer season”. Will be looking for a new place the following year.

Why do people keep falling for this. Your kid can get recruited from any team. You don’t need to be at 91 or Express. Good luck when those teams bring in the holdbacks and fly ins.

Probably better off.But we will wait until fall to finish the Rebel conversations when all the “top” teams will use the term “it’s only fall ball”.

Rebels will be 3rd best even with all their additions. 91 now with the added offensive player will steamroll all local clubs.

Looking at instagram the Rebels seem to be better prepared and ready to go

Rebels can do all they want on IG, etc.. 91 will be the King of LI followed by Express but the gap will be huge!

Congrats to both teams and all the T-shirts this year … just remember your replacements are being scoured for already so enjoy the 8th grade titles!

Can Igloo still field a team at the age?

91 has no offense.

91 has major offense. They added another lefty scorer which was missing this past season.

That kid is going to put alot of pressure on a bunch of returning players.

The only people hyping 91 is 91 parents they have proven nothing yet. The ranking is a joke they played the top team 4x and couldn’t do anything even with 28’s or whatever age they are playing down. Stop the insanity that 91 is any better than any of the top teams until they prove something. Its the only reason the finished where they did in the rankings.

Returning players have nothing to worry about. He’s going to put a lot of pressure on his parents for making the decision to go to 91 regardless of scholarship. No one wants limited PT especially when you’re used to being on the field almost entire game.

91 will ride out with it’s originals before the fly in/ holdback takeover next year.The new addition will push for the lefty attacker spot and should win if coaches kid politics don’t get in way. Express improved tremendously and will give 91 a run for the money.Rebels will be good and definitely better then what people think they will be.They improved throughout the roster and now have the depth to be a legitimate contender.
Igloo still has the D.But that will only get them so far.The mediocre goaltending and average offense will hurt them.Legacy will beat Moose and S2S and that’s about it.

Express and 91 have separated from the pack. The rest will be fine but none will compete with Top 25 teams. 91 will take another step to unstoppable next year.

Lefty from Igloo will not take lefty attack spot from Coach’s son. May play a few minutes a game there but both current attackers will either look for a new team or be handing out water and towels starting next year (if not sooner) to the Venom reclass attack line.

It’s easy to separate from the pact “buying” ready made and trained players from other local and out of state lax programs.

The igloo kid is a middie first. He’s gonna take a back seat to two coaches kids that are mediocre at best. The head coaches son at middie and another coaches son at attack. Wrong move I believe for kid who’s a very solid player. Express would’ve been a better decision.

Are the venom players coming down ?

They didn’t take him (91) because they wanted him ,, they are putting him on the shelf. 91/express take kids on the roster just to keep them off the field on other teams it’s an age old ploy put kids on the roster just so they don’t help another team. Why anyone at this point would put their kid on a team with dad coaches I have no idea you won’t win in that situation.

Which team does not have dad coaches? Igloo has dad coaches. Rebels has 3 of them. 91 has 3. Express has had dad coaches all along, the other name was marketing.
