Long Island - where everyone wishes they could do Chaminade or st Anthony's but since they are paying an ungodly amount of taxes and are stuck on an island, figure to just hit the local public school off the LIE.

No. He's gone. Anyone know if anyone will be brought in to replace him?

Garrison coach also out. Who is replacing her?

Old RPCS coach just announced as an assistant at McDonogh.

Maryvale is still the same just checked the link. Y’all got to check.

Not the same.
She is right, not the same.

And Reese is now longer an AD there. What's the saying, where there is smoke...

Man I can’t decide if I want Yeezy’s or Louis Vuitton’s. Both perform but I think Yeezy’s are better on wet turf. So glad they leave that spam up in the chat.

Coach Reese still coaching the team at Maryvale. Wonder how transfer rules would apply for his daughter if he switched schools?

Jessy Morgan. The AD at GF
She was the HC at George Mason and Howard University. And assistant at UVA before that.
As soon as she was hired as AD, people correctly assumed she was going to be coaching there one day.

If BR leaves those girls will be better off. I wouldnt want to be the next hc to deal with all the parents who sent their dd there solely for lax and BR.McD and STJ might get some transfers.

not at Maryvale (thank god) so no thats not the case. but i see why you assume that since SO many girls didnt get much time which is why many are looking to transfer for sophomore year. he keeps recruiting and making same promises to so many girls and families that its impossible to keep them all. only 12 kids on the field at once after all.

The parents also need to take responsibility. Do they really think their kid will be a top player when surrounded by other top players? Be realistic. Don’t blame,e BR for it all, parents and kids made the choice to go. If not playing much they are still practicing with top talent. That should be considered as well. Playing time is not given, it is earned. Stop whining and play better.

Apparently your daughter didn’t measure up to expectations.
Is she better than the girls starting and getting playing time? I bet unlikely. Next time choose a high school for the education.

Nothing to do with expectations , this is on BR, it was all a scam to get as many players as possible with as many fake promises as possible. It worked too. Good salesman doing what he does, over promise while collecting his spoils not caring the effect of what he is doing on the people he is selling his scam to.

Tell me a coach in any sport at any level, that wouldn’t want to get as many great players as possible? Win for the team, win for the school. Tuition$$$

Good luck to your daughter.

Girls will always have different trajectories once they hit High School. His job is to recruit talent, then play the best, most consistent performers. I think the real issue lies in the Hero's pipeline. That is really devoid of decent protocol from a coach and program. It was all decided way earlier than tryouts and not totally reflective of talent. When you have freshman parents who feel comfortable enough to chum it up with a coach directly following tryouts; proper boundaries have not been set. It's the inside job that's gross. That being said, echoing another poster... parents have to do their research and be realistic. Everyone thinks their kid is going to go dominate the IAAM then wants to cry foul when that doesn't happen.

That M&D Black 2024 team could have been one of the best ever, but several strong players left before 8th grade because of this very reason.
Where exactly did those strong players go? And not sure the team got much worse as I just looked up their Sophomore year numbers and looks like they only lost 1 game that entire year to Heroes.

And majority of M&D24 best players were from out of state and just flew in for games. They came for the M&D name and not JB.

As a parent of a MV player, you all couldn’t be more wrong about BR. He never promised playing time to my daughter and only preaches development and equal opportunity. When you attend a top level school, everyone knows you have to compete for playing time.
Lots of rumors and BS on here about BR but we couldn’t be happier with the environment and culture our daughter is in at Maryvale.

What are you talking about with best players flying in? There were 3 who didn’t go to high school in the DMV and the only one of those 3 that was ranked really never played much in multiple years due to injuries.

And majority of M&D24 best players were from out of state and just flew in for games. They came for the M&D name and not JB.

Anyone know why JB left MV?

This is completely untrue. I have kids in a local public school that are doing great academically. One is in college with plenty of other kids from local private schools. Look at the colleges these public school kids are going to and they are just as impressive as the private school kids. The public school sports are competitive and are beating these local private schools teams in every sport except lacrosse. That is not to say there aren’t very talented lacrosse players at public schools. They just aren’t stacked like the private schools where kids are willing to drive an hour each way to school. I’ve got an extra $100,000 plus though in my pocket to cover college since we went public. Private schools are great too but don’t say Public schools are up to the task anymore. That’s incorrect. I have 3 kids that beg to differ.

JB falls in that category. That's part of the reputation

JB was asked to leave. It wasn't his choice.

That was obvious to everyone except JB.
