How does it work when one club has tryouts so far ahead of the others in the age group? Do they lock in their teams now? Yes, that is the point of doing it early along with the deadlines to commit. What clubs besides coppermine are doing this? Who did Coppermine pick up at tryouts?

Maryland united did the early commitment thing. Heard they canceled regular tryouts after they had two open practices. I guess they picked team at the open practices and made everyone decide quickly.

How is tryout week going? Any big news/changes to teams that would shake up how teams are playing right away?

weird how this board goes quiet during tryout season I heard some rumors but usually try to confirm bf spreading. Know that integrity lost their best middie to mdu and some mdu kids went to integrity. Heard that m&d grabbed some girls from someone at tryouts but not confirmed.

It’s a shame all you guys weren’t able to play at nationals. But then again think how ridiculous all of your 14 year old daughters would look wearing 13u backpacks.

Sorry your daughter isn’t good at lax, but that’s no reason to attack 7th grade girls and claim that they’re boys. Try being a better human. Jfc.

Last year it took several weeks. Looks like they added top level players from top clubs. A goalie from MDU, attacker from Coppermine, and middie from Heros. This is my assumption based on how the groups separated the second day of tryouts.

Heros only lost one and at a position of strength so they are still top flight. Coppermine lost their best attack to mnd but should still be strong. Seems like mdu and integrity took a step back, sw picked up some kids cut from Elsewhere and DC teams are silent right now. Fall should be insane bw the big 3 teams.

Do tell! “Coppermine lost their best attack ? Great evaluation ! Sometimes change is good !” IMO, but we can certainly agree that she is an excellent player even if not the “best.”

YJ parent gloating about their National Championship needs to go back to their board. They have to have a reason they can't beat us. Is it the the same excuse they use as to why they play a weak schedule? They won't even play the top teams on LI. But they have a different excuse for that...

The one they won is akin to UNC bball’s fake 1924 national championship.

Notice how none of you are disputing the fact that you have 14 year olds on your teams. Wonder how you’d do against the age equivalent 2028 Long Island teams.

Three things:
1) we would beat the 2028s up there consistently with our 2029s, just like we do with you guys 2) people aren’t responding to you bc you are a fool 3) one person did actually respond, see below. If you Weren’t a knuckle dragging mouthbreather, you would have seen this reply below your first hold back shot.
“Not one single hold back but mmmkay”
Now go back and shine that fake natl title trophy
