That m&d dad (if that is even the case) was responding to the wine mom’s rant about the 29 team. I agree that this is a 28 forum but pick the right person to bash. You can actually see where the conversation started in the posts you yourself quoted.

another parent coach with no girls lacrosse recruiting experience Not sure what this is in reference to but, you may want to learn how recruiting works at clubs. It is done at the club director level and less at the age group coaching level. This is why Coppermine brought on Tucker and now JB. SW had Michael but sadly will need to find someone to fill his shoes. M&D has Robinsons who have a track record that is arguably the best in the business. Coaches play a role in development but recruiting is at a higher level at most clubs.

Coaches play a role in development but recruiting is at a higher level at most clubs. Although I agree that is typically how its done, a coach with connections, either past coaching or as a former player with contacts can and will play a role. TBH, I think a trusted coach who has watched a girl for 6-7 years can carry more weight than some directors who may have only spent the last year or two getting to know the girls. Specifically now, where these club coaches may have been teammates or rivals with current NCAA coaches today. After all, recruiting is all about relationships and lax is a small community.

Not a recruiting coordinator so weird he was mentioned. He’s the future coach of 2030s and current 2026 coach. JT is also barely involved, but they do have an actual recruiting coordinator.

Players at the bottom of the roster and less playing time are common to move every year. This isn’t a surprise to anyone. The truth is already out there.

Looks like we can guarantee at least 1 M&D Black kid to Coppermine with their new coaching addition.

Post tryouts: 1- Hero's 2- Skywalkers 3- Coppermine 4- Crush 5- MD United 6- M&D I see the M&D trolls are out in full force. I don’t think it’s wildly unfair to M&D, I wouldn’t put them above 5 unless there is a major influx of talent coming in What talent is going to Skywalkers and MDU to vault them ahead? Skywalkers usually gets the a couple good DC girls who don't make capital. Will be interesting to see if Crush can keep all of its top players with no recruiting rep to speak of.

Skywalkers will get some talent, from where remains to be seen. Also, FCA may pick up some defectors from other top clubs.

They usually got the good BLC girls but there isn't a BLC 2028 team so not sure whether DC will help them this year. Skywalkers is a good team as it is, do they have as much space as people say? I get that they will cut existing girls, but how many girls better than what they have will turn up?

And people are so smart they are jumping into the fire at mnd by going to a place where the 2 coaches daughters get all the play run thru them. People forget they just lost a few because of this.

Wow, shocker another completely out of line comment. Attacking this man’s personal life when you have no idea what the circumstances may have been! Congratulations to Coppermine on a smart hire in a co-head coach. This coach is a class act whos SIX kids have all had great success in lax- including a D1 Championship! Perhaps he knows a thing or two about the recruiting process- just sayin’ Best of luck to all those at tryouts this week and beyond.

Anyone who has seen this team play knows this isn’t true. You already moved on from the team, let it go.

There can only be one captain.
