Rebels program will be swallowed by the turtles

Legacy parents aren’t happy, some have made calls, facts.

Some are disappointed in the team’s progression others have had enough of the loud mouth parents. Ruining it for others

Yeah with age verification Next Level players are probably playing with the appropriate age of 28/29 teams

So if my kids a young 30. Born late October. Should I have him play with the 31s to be the best in the age? Serious question.

Not a True 31? Born in July with a 6/1/2012 verification date means he is a True 31. Prob top 30 around

My son did LILJ game yesterday
Good talented kids nice to play with others
Well run

Only thing I will say
They need to do a better not catering to 91 , it’s almost embarrassing a few kids they mentioned never play

It was a little much

If born in October of 2013 and in 4th grade then yes you should play on grade. If your child is exceptional and is able to play with the fifth graders, not sitting on the bench, regular role and time, then maybe keep him up. Playing on grade is just as good an option.

LILJ doesn’t cater to 91, it caters to people who can afford to pay. It was obvious at this age group they invited kids from the top club teams and it filled the rosters. There were an overwhelming amount of kids from 91 and Igloo. That doesn’t mean those teams were catered to, it just means they were at the top of the invite list. All the kids should have played the same amount. There is never bias in these games. Hope your son had fun.

Based on Rebels Stealth performance this past weekend I think they are on track for a similar run as the Aces, bottom of the pack.

6/1/12 is someone who belongs in 6th grade. A 2030s average birthdate. So yeah, not a true 31. It’s a 2030 who qualifies to play 2031 lacrosse.

I would disagree, the same 7-8 kids never came out. So yeah not a tough weekend for them other than losing. But for the kids on the bench it was a tough weekend. Same old Igloo. Learn to play more than your kids.

You have to give it to Prime Time finding a way to win their own tournament. Made Igloo and BBL play an extra game at 8am in 95 degrees this way the team they would play at 11:00 (their only game of the day) will already have played 2 games. Those 8:00 games where never on the schedule....Brilliant!!!!

Prime Time won because they were the best team in the division. Not because of the schedule.

They’ll finally figure it out by high school when neither of those clubs can even compete with Primetime.

Yes that's exactly what happened...the masterminds at Prime Time figured out long before the tournament their 12 year olds, always so predictable, were going to go 4-0 on Saturday, as they were the only team playing all 4 games straight in the heat (climate change and this particular heat dome was ordered directly by Prime Time for this tournament!) almost every hour from 8-1:30, while making the other teams play only 3 games. But then! If everything went according to their devious plan, whoever their warmed-up opponents on Sunday were, the hosts, emerging from their cryo chambers, and in no way tired from playing the same exact number of games, would use this massive advantage they earned fair and square--and that every team had the same chance to earn, to crush that team from the #2-#3 game.

Brilliant!

And to make it even more believable, PT allowed other teams win in other age groups, so it looked "good". Wait until you see how Prime Time plans to interfere in the election this fall and have their 2030s boys team elected president...wait, sorry, I've said too much.

There's nothing that says "summer" quite like lacrosse parents creating conspiracy theories, whining and crying about losing youth lacrosse tournaments. Quilting, gardening, and biking are just some of the suggested hobbies for grown adults, and I don't think Prime Time has 2030 teams in any of them, so you're safe...for now!

That’s what happens when you have too many dad coaches and don’t involve other kids

Same with cyclones , those kids are just standing on sidelines for the t shirt and 4 mins of playing time

They had injuries, only had 15 kids on Sunday. So no issues there.

I don't think anyone made any bold statements but if you were made to feel foolish about your post complaining re the hosts and the weather and the Illuminati at the last tournament because the results weren't to your liking, sir, I do apologize. Our kids will do their thing, and be predictably unpredictable, and while we think our 12 year olds did well and tried their best, I do appreciate you running to the tourney app to check on scores of another 12 year old team and tournament with which you have no affiliation, just so you can run right back to this forum and weigh in (no matter what anyone tells you, it's very chill & cool).

I'm going to tap out here because I know when I've met my match, but PLEASE don't let it stop you from your regular mocking of 12 year old teams, complaining about rosters and holdbacks and other teams which are not your own on Long Island, introducing conspiracy theories re cheating, etc etc; your work here is crucial if we are ever going to get to the bottom of your deep rooted psychological problems...er, I mean, what's wrong with youth lacrosse.

Look, you and this forum is everything that's good about youth sports, and I'm glad I found it. And while I don't know you personally, I bet everyone on the sidelines is impressed with your knowledge of the game, its rules, and how it should be played, especially the refs and your team's coaches, and without a doubt, the players, who wait for your shouted instructions on how they can improve instantly. All that said, I hope the rest of your season and summer is filled with happiness... Enjoy!

Can someone please tell me it straight. So lacrosse still as of now "kinda" goes by grade. New York schools age cut off for grades is december. So for total example kid born 11/25/2015 who kept in new york normal schooling is in 3rd grade this year just finished moving to 4th grade a 2033. Kids from other states im hearing alot of other states florida texas maryland etc is there cut off july? or sept? So kids 6 months older then New York for example kid born 7/25/2015 in those states would be in a lower grade bascially 2nd grade and moving to 3rd grade and play 2032? Is this the advantage people are saying currently other states have over New York? I heard they are trying to move to age based and not grade based but i heard there giving a 6 month buffer. Wouldn't this then keep the same advantage? Why won't lacrosse join every other sport and just make a hard 1 year age bracket?
