Saw some real good lacrosse today from this age group.

Stealth 1 seed 3-0
Crabs 2 seed 3-0
BTB 3 seed 3-0
Rebels Kraken 4 seed 2-1

Any of those 4 teams can win championship tomorrow!

Rebels Kraken was not at Futures. That was a different team

Two Rebels teams played in that tournament - National and Seahawks/CSH.

Stealth takes the championship with wins over Kraken (11-10 in OT) and Crabs (8-7). Would rank 91 Nitro as the fourth best team in this tournament. Stealth, Kraken and Crabs looked better. BTB was the fourth playoff team, but likely 91 Nitro wins a head to head matchup.

Rebels need work, sloppy play vs Stealth

Stealth, Crabs, BTB and Kraken. I saw some of the games of the top 4 teams in 2033s this age group play today (had my sons games today sons a 31) some impressive lacrosse. I couldn’t believe the size and skill of these teams for their age.

Yup. Sloppy 11-10 loss to quite possibly the best 33 club team on the east coast in Stealth. Scored a sloppy 52 goals in 5 games. Lost 2 games by a grand total of 2 goals. You gotta come with a better comment than that.

In 2033 these kids can barely catch and throw, not sure how or why parents are blasting teams. I understand, and by the looks of most boards, the Rebels parents def cheerlead, and that is super annoying, but let's relax regarding 3rd graders. Parents should ask, did we play well, and refrain from counting wins and losses. Nobody remembers Tri-Star from 3rd grade!

Sounds like you’re a 91 parent. 😂 The players on these teams are surprisingly skilled, well-beyond “barely” catching and throwing, with good lax IQ.

Rebels aren't good, we saw this with Rebels Aces and Stealth, decent at the younger age groups, and then dismantled because there is no development and the coaching is poor. This 33 team will have the same results, best players are already leaving for 91. Harsh reality and wake-up call coming.

The best players played this past weekend...at 4:00 while you were at home focusing on development.

Wow, you really got that guy, what a burn. This 2033? These kids are too young to be talking garbage, just enjoy bad lacrosse, especially if you are watching the Rebels.

Right now all those top 2033 teams look good off to a great start especially considering their age. Quit the bickering and enjoy it. It goes by quick.

91 Nitro beat both the Rebels (Kraken and Seahawks) teams pretty good this weekend only 3 teams in that tourney rest all B teams.
BTB Renegades came in 2nd place down in a Maryland tourney lost to the Crabs in Championship game.

Next tier of teams all played in a fairly weak Connecticut tourney
Igloo tight wins final one over Orange Crush by 1 goal.
Shore 2 Shore went 0-5 even lost to 91's b team not a good look.

Early Rankings no clear #1 team yet and not much separation between 1-10 for a strong age group.

General starement accurate, but haven't seen any basis for moving Rebels Kraken or BTB Renegades up at this time.

At the Penguin Igloo tournament Kraken and BTB both beat Igloo. At Spring Jam Kraken and BTB again both beat Igloo. It’s pretty clear. Don’t even have to go common opponents but if so Tri Star kraken and BTB both played top teams (crabs, stealth to competitive games. 1 goal losses to Stealth and Crabs Igloo was blown out by that level of teams. Kraken head to head with BTB has beaten them so have them over.

Towerman same thing at Tristar they went 1-4 blown out by stealth and 91 and even lost to Express North who BTB beat. Towerman Only a 1 goal win over BBL. BTB and Kraken both smoked BBL and both teams made it to playoff bracket. Lost to Crabs and Stealth.

Orange Crush no top wins might even have Express North at 10 over them at 10.

You can tell when a Rebel parent is on here. Oblivious to reality. Kraken won’t be and never will be top 10. Rebel teams dismantle and this parent will get a taste in the coming year or two.

You have a point that Rebel Kraken's record was comparable to Igloo and BTB Renegades and I would make that a 3-way tie. But none have wins of any kind over those above them on here. Towerman, although having significant losses earlier, did manage one big win against Next Level, so is a small step above at this point. These are just snapshots on what we hope is a long development process for all boys and teams. But it is good to give informed recognition where recognition is due.

Not a Rebels parent and I think you’re right about them prob dismantling in a year two. Gotta give them credit it might be short lived but atleast for this year. I didn’t realize Towerman does have one big win. But rebels and BTB both beating Igloo multiple times and Igloo no significant wins, can’t have Igloo above them two. Looking forward to end of summer tourneys and next year see who continues to develop and who loses players and takes a step down. All in all a very strong group of teams for 2033!

Typo--meant record comparable to Orange Crush, not BTB.

Kraken played BTB 3 times this tournament season and have not lost to them. They also beat Igloo the one time that they played. They lost to Stealth Black Ops 11-10 in OT, Mad Lax Capital 5-4, Crabs 7-6 and most recently Sweet Lax upstate 5-3. The Rebels 33 National Team which is mostly Kraken players beat Orange Crush 2x. Last fall they beat Towermen 10-4. Kraken are 100% not top 5...yet, they have to close out games. Only team on that list that they have struggled with on multiple occasions is Nitro, who I'd definitely put in the top 5. The Kraken are a top 10, definitely, and most definitely above BTB, Towermen and Igloo who I'd leave off the list to be honest. The talent is really so deep at this level, it's been a pleasure to watch so many of these teams battle it out this spring and early summer!

I corrected my post in that there really isn't anything separating Rebel Kraken w Igloo and Orange Crush (and don't rank BTB at this point). Other teams have wins that Kraken doesn't have. All pretty even. Good losses are just better than bad losses and show that possibly, w more training and/or talent, they are striking range of expecting a win against the other teams. Fall is fun but doesn't count when it comes to complete teams during lax season and the point of the post is to recognize development. And Towermen have that big win (even if they probably couldn't have replicated it in the championship) that Kraken doesn't yet have.

I’ve seen the comments and people’s views. By your argument what win does igloo have? They’ve lost to Kraken 1x and they’ve lost to BTB 2x they’ve never beaten either of them or any top tier team. There is no way they are a top 10 team at this point when you’re consistently losing to teams barely in the top 10.
Orange Crush is the same as Igloo no significant win good record against 2nd tier teams.

Towerman prob ranked to high. Nitro I can see creeping towards top.

Looking forward to upcoming tourneys and next season and getting a larger pool of games to see how it starts to shake out.

Think Nitro 3 or 4. and BTB not even in discussion.

Hard to back that up when they haven’t really played each other. Only Tourney I saw them in together was Tri Star. BTB placed 4th Nitro didn’t even make the playoff round.

Any big tournaments left for this age group?

Kraken and Sweetlax FL are without a doubt top 10 teams. Towermen(1 good win??) and Orange Crush should be off that list. Consideration should be given to Rebels Seahawks and ECE. BTB on cusp but has not even hung with proven ranked teams that they have played. Turtles are an A team and should not even be considered at this level of competition because they haven't played any of the teams listed (played 34's at LI LAX Fest).
