Yeah, that's a packed division. I think that tournament is showcase only. But if I'm a college scout, I'd start peeking in. Not too often all of the top 7 or 8 teams in one spot at same time.

They won’t be at any 27 games when the 26s are on the clock. They will start in November for 27.

Pretty sure most of the top-10 teams all get into the major tournaments, Live Love Lax, Summer Genesis, Lax for the Cure, G8 and MD Cup. Mid Altantic as well.

BTW, with only fall games in the rankings, I suspect some teams move up and down over the course of the summer.

Top YJ team isn't playing Summer Genesis - that is YJN. Still a stacked division though.

Stacked but with only 4 games, you only play 1/3 of the teams in division so its irrelevant.

Then YJN has zero business in the top division. After looking at YJN Mager’s schedule from last fall my bet is they get absolutely slapped. They have zero chance to win a game. Why would the coach of the 56th ranked team in the country allow his/her team to be stomped in this top bracket?

Are they new on the seen? Seems a lot of clubs ive never heard from are popping up are least entering new torunaments/brackets. Going to be lots of movement from fall rankings, just so few games played.

Interesting take given the last time Heros played them it was 11-4 and the time before that the score was 10-1. I wonder what happened.

Any thoughts from LLL? Seems more parody than ever in the age, all these top teams can beat each other if on right or wrong day.

Seems like like local refs make calls for local teams…per usual.

in high school and in showcases/tecruiting alot of teams will play mostly equal playing time. Tops teams play everyone and can't win with 3-4 subs so you will see more parity

You mean how most NY runs a backer D and the refs were actually calling 3 seconds?

Another thing, seems NY parents don't understand that a tomahawk swing that hits the ground is instant Yellow, no need for contact.

Not in our game, lots of tomahawk swings hitting the ground and nothing was called....

Bad refs were all over the field, thats the problem when there are literally hundreds of games in a weekend.

Going to be shakeups in the rankings for sure, as these teams that didn't play outside their regions in the fall start playing others.

Thoughts on BIC?

Talent level thru the roof ! Some teams had some ball hogs for sure. Overall I really like the event. Coaches work hard and very engaging. The get to work with some top college and pro players and I’d say a good number will say they learned something there and just didn’t play games.

One of the best events and provides excellent exposure.

Excellent exposure for kids who aren't starters or don't see much time for their hs or club.

Apply online and willing to spent the money. Same as most of the other summer events. There are so many options now all get watered down meaning there is a bigger discrepancy in talent.

Its only going to get worse, the next big thing is right around the corner. More kids playing club and playing earlier than ever before.

Evaluated to be best on their team and invited. 2026 is loaded. I bet some 2028 got left out cause they aren’t as well know. You wanna be there during recruiting year. Well over 70 coaches sitting there watching the best on best matchups. Some of the 27 players earn a spot back , some get replaced if they didn’t play up to that level.

Evaluated to be the best on their team and invited by who? Stop kidding yourself. We applied online and got our DD selected. It had nothing to do with anyone knowing who she is or your DD. Yes there were a lot of really talented girls there but those are the ones focused on playing in college and attend these events. There were other talented girls not there because they have decided to attend other events. Some are doing multiple events this summer. It was an enjoyable and informative experience though.

Tons of talent there, but how they put the teams together was a joke. Having 6 Heros girls on one team, coached by the Heros coach and another with 4 Eagle Stix girls and the ES coach was unfair to other girls on those teams.

Hopefully Deemer fixes it before next year.

Still a really good team. You take losses when you play top teams every game. Happens to M&D and YJ too. Relax

Still tons of great players especially on attack and midfield. but their draw game is a level below other top 10 teams.

Tough to win when you are only getting 30 percent of draws.
