Can’t argue with much of this , Igloo, Madlax and Sweetlax Fl should be top 3. After that you can debate, Towermen, 2Way, Next Level, Rebels, Lax Black. Probably another small notch down Dukes, HHH, PT, Express, S2S, 91, BBL Black. Either way this age group seems to be way more balanced than older ones.

Ratings, not rankings. The 2031 teams have ratings already and have all year. Igloo won’t dismantle, that’s just silly. Wouldn’t even make sense, they’re all happy. Theyre not even paying attention to this stuff—such a waste of air. But have a great tryout season, wherever you are!

ALL this weekend has many of these teams playing minus madlax, crabs and Laxachusetts.

But hearing that Alliance altered the schedule last minute yesterday and put igloo, next level, Towermen and mad dog west in the same bracket with BBL, 2way, s2s, sweetlax navy and legacy on the other side.

No problem with that but lacrosse as a sport loses credibility when tourneys play games with how they arrange schedules to give their affiliates a better shot at advancing

Big time setup was best I’ve seen by giving 8 teams a shot in bracket play after a day of pool play.

This fall. USCL starts ranking fall of 6th grade. Fall doesn't mean much but in the summer it goes up and down. Interestingly GHCLC record is included but summer is where the numbers propel teams up and down and who you play matters

Exactly - the disgruntled players already left Igloo and are on Express. The kids still there are happy to be there.

Why would anyone leave Igloo. Team is very successful and well coached ? Sounds like Express or 91 hoping for a miracle

You are welcome to stay at Igloo. I think most are aware that at some point before HS there is a shift. Nobody is saying you need to this for your child, I think what people are saying is that the better players from teams like Igloo, Shore, Rebels, etc. will leave and move to Express/91. When families reach 7/8 grade they start to see the better players funnel to those programs for visibility and HS. There is a correlation between HS and those teams. Igloo is fine at the younger ages, but there is an inevitable shift at that age. If you don’t believe me or the others saying the same, watch what happens to the 2029 WS Team next week. When tryouts are done, their better players will have moved.

Because are any there Igloo, S2S, or Rebels playing this weekend at NLF, where 100s coaches will be watching the best teams in the country play. It’s that simple

We’ve had this discussion before. NLF puts out one good event. That’s it. NAL is a better event. And for the record igloo and shore to shore have been invited to NLF events in different age groups.

There are more teams participating at NLF this weekend than at Big Time shootout last weekend or A,L.L. Summer Championship in MD this weekend but, the pool of teams is much much weaker and the competition not as great. So, maybe things are changing??
Looks like Madlax and PrimeTime are the only competitive teams at NLF.

Also not true. NLF isn’t everything and Igloo kids have no problem going to some of the best colleges too without leaving the org. Express and 91 “need” this to be true to keep raking in $$$ but anyone paying attention knows it’s not the only path.

91 Warriors playing NLF, now accepting B teams. Is it really that important of an event anymore ? Not to mention Team 91 South and Tristate. More like a 91 showcase

What I love is when you see a team in beginning g of June who is struggling and they should up to tourneys in July with kids turning 13. Age versification is BS. Can’t wait to see which teams show up to ALL with kids with beards. No real consequence because tourneys don’t check and turn their head to affiliate teams that do it

Warriors are definitely a good B team in terms of players. The Coaching is very good and especially the rotations which may get them a few goals in NLF.

This is a ridiclous statement. Stop trolling. If igloo or rebels aren't involved with a particular tournament, than it can't be considered solid competition?

NLF is about recruiting. Notice which teams are not there at the oldest age groups.

Before long, the AAL tourney will be equal to NLF with so many good teams excluded and the poor quality of locations/fields for NLF. Sweetlax, Next Level, BBL, Mad Dog, DC Express and others will create a viable alternative to NLF. Force 91 to stop favoring its own teams in pool scheduling etc. for NLF.

No one is putting down those teams but someone earlier on board mentioned NLF and recruiting. I’m not sure how this event shapes out at the older ages but if this is any indication, then the completion is on weak side. Some clubs like to tout this event and their participation, it’s just not a big deal anymore.

Off by a goal . They got a couple of goals. Lost 13-1 and 8-1. This is why NLF isn't a big deal anymore. Not taking top teams.

Exactly. There are some good teams there but in all likelihood MadLax is going to sweep through the 31s anyway and meanwhile certain clubs so focused on the fact that they get to be there vs whether they’re keeping it high level competition. It’s not what they’re making it out to be and college coaches aren’t notIntelligent—if solid teams worth scouting aren’t there, they’ll be seen elsewhere.

You should come to SBU and watch the oldest kids play. Coaches everywhere.

It’s not just Rebels and igloo. There no 2way, hawks, Madlax Florida and several other top teams. Those are some of the top teams in the age group. That’s why the NAL is a much better event. They invite all the top teams. Regardless who they play for.

I’m sure there are. But there also a ton of college coaches at NAL and other top events. The days of the NLF being the only show in town is over.

Yes, heard they had a couple of the top kids from “one of the top” historical club that’s weak at 31 coming. Much needed depth! Igloo snatching a TOP player as well. Rich get richer.

Not a great showing by 91 teams NLF. Warriors 0-4. Titans 2-2. S2S also struggled 0-3 at ALL. Wouldn’t be surprised if players jumped ship.

So they got top players from 2 bad teams ? Doesn’t sound like much of an upgrade.

Rebel dad to rebel dad, what does oblivious mean??? Huh….
