91 Co, got what they asked for. Karma is a B*tch! The second day of the tournament their team got spanked in both games. Hope they had a fun long flight home.

The good thing about their team is the coach. He is a true gentlemen. And kudos to the head coach of Igloo allowing the kid that was ejected to play in the game on the second day.

It's possible that their repetitive play has been learned from other top teams by now. They rely to much on the same thing. If you watch the games it is obvious.

Twins mom is on the phone, here we go. Tryouts are a month away and parents are jockeying for spots. Good luck to Stealth in Mid-July

4-1 Armada: no mention? They scored 31 goals and the only other team to score more is igloo with 33. Armada lost a close game 9-6 game to crabs (ranking is similar to igloo). Goals for based upon tristar:
Igloo 34
Armada 31
Titans 23
Express East 20
Chucks 19
Legacy 13
Stealth 15 (-1 GD)

Looks like the over under for teams with an Offense is 23. Two teams have super charged offenses: both scored more than double that of Stealth!!!

Moral of the story: plan your tryout season accordingly. The positive feedback loop will decimate the lower 3. IMHO Igloo has Defense locked down (GA 3). However Armada is nearly average with 14 (2nd best though). Clearly lower offensive teams need O, but it appears Armada only needs poles? Titans have put ppl on notice, as well.

BTW: ppl detest stealth because the parents try to fight moms (witnessed guy saying fool stuff to a mom in a chair). A stealth parent was arrested (?) For hitting a prime time dad last year. One guy also tried to fight me last year as well, so I have first hand experience.

@ChillLaxin@ChillLaxin about any kid. It is an opinion. Stop spreading the lies and stirring the pot. Our team has a great group of kids that enjoy playing together. Even when we play poorly we usually compete. This board is full of FAKE NEWS.

That sounds like an admission of guilt. Rebel's parents are tainted by a few, as most teams are. It only takes a handful of bad apples to tarnish a team's sideline reputation. Unfortunately for the good set of rebel parents, those few have ruined it for you. Their sideline behavior and constant cheerleading on this page have others throwing up in their mouths. There is no fake news, reel those parents in and ensure behavior is improved, your parent ranking will suffer until then.

Parent ranking? lol. That is almost as good as ranking 10/11 year old athletes.

Armada def deserves mention--and parents solid and nice to be around. Looking forward to the Northeast Selects combo of Igloo and Shore 2 Shore in July. (Igloo parent here)

Find the best club and team. Because everyone will start chasing winning teams regardless of what they some may say. Tryouts are expensive, yes. But you should be trying out for up to three teams and see what is out there. Might not be a better situation, then you have currently. But this is huge investment in time and money and you should keep all options available. You’re the client and the club should be working at keeping your son.

Do people usually email clubs ahead of time prior to trying out/making a potential switch?

If you email the club all you will get is a link for the tryout with a “Pay here” button. You need to go to a couple tryouts and understand where your child falls. From there make a rational decision to put him on a team where he will develop and play.

Email the club is a waste of time. But you should absolutely ask parents who have kids on the team or know someone who does. Finding out the needs/weaknesses of the team is very important. This is huge before you plunk down 150 bucks for a tryout. If your son is a lefty attack man and both lefty attack man are coaches kids……don’t waste your time. Knowing the needs and weaknesses of a team is huge to see if it’s worth it for your kid to tryout. Some club directors are more accessible than others. You aren’t getting on the phone with Brian Spallina, but Channenchuck cell phone is listed on the express website. My kids have never played for express but he’s very accessible. Rebels and Legacy directiors seem pretty accessible but shire to shore not so much. At the same breath don’t take directors words on what their needs are. They will never tell you “we are set at attack”. They want as many kids to show up for tryouts for the money. Best of luck.

Great weekend for S2S.Igloo was solid as well. Legacy had a rough go.

Express East competed. Chucks played well but lost in finals.

Rebels played up in 2030 "B" bracket. Not sure of competition but scores do not reflect a competitive situation. Played Igloo 2020 2nd team in finals.

91 had weekend off.

Good to see some LI teams playing all over this weekend.

Good luck to all teams the rest of the way.

S2S out coached Igloo this weekend. Igloos offense looked flat. Good thing for their defense or they would never have made it to the finals. Their offense this weekend looked like a completely different team from the past tournaments this season.

Congratulations to S2S - they played great this weekend.

kind of pathetic if a parent of a team playing in a different state actually had the time and interest to watch a 5th grade igloo and shore game less than 24 hours after it ended + i did not see if online

Shore beat igloo give them credit...you cheapen the W for shore by saying "igloo offense was flat".

How does someone saying Igloo’s offense was flat discredit S2S’s win?!

S2S played amazing and on both ends of the game. And, yes, Igloo’s offense looked flat all five games. They are consistently scoring double digits this tournament season and didn’t this past weekend. So yes, something looked off.

But hats off to S2S they deserved the Chip, they were on point this weekend and are a top team for others to be worried about.

S2S beat prime time 3x in a week? They beat stealth 2x in 2 weeks. Igloo never had the lead against Shore. Those guys can yell at their kids—one kid was nearly thrown into the game by his shoulder pads. Strange way to treat a kid. Igloo coach yelling at his team in a Time out “why can’t we win FOs,” priceless! After the game a igloo coach was still lacing into a kid on the sideline preventing the walk to his goalie.

Just reported facts as they happened.

Igloo played great as well.
Saying their “offense was flat” takes away from ALL the hard work these 10/11 year old BOYS put into their game. It’s was 88+ degrees for these kids, give them a break! B

Facts as they happen…
At Tristar, GA for S2S was 14 and for Igloo 3.
At PrimeTime, GA for S2S 14 and for Igloo 13.

S2S beat PrimeTime in the semifinals by 1.

Please stop acting like S2S wiped the floor with Winter Soldiers. It was back and forth until the end despite others saying the “offense was flat.”’

Naptown has also turned into a national team wild west of holdback tournaments.

LI kids are still in school. Naptown rep not the same as it was 3-4 years ago. It's been infiltrated by National Teams. The Red Hot debacle yesterday is a prime example. Ruining it for club teams. We are glad Hogan caught and reprimanded Red Hots.

We heard the 27 Supreme team had at least 3 17 going on 18 year old boys. The kids should be about 14,15 l, max 16 in that graduating year. This only forces boys to peak early.

Igloo was never in the lead. Nobody wiped the floor with anyone, yes it was the best kids game I have seen. Yes it was incredibly hot.
