All the top teams will look at a kid if they reach out. I heard Sw and Copp are both looking at players that can help. Heros is taking a kid from NY to try and improve. If you want to know reach out to the coach at a team you are interested in.

Coppermine doesn’t need to look at players that can help. They have plenty on their current roster. Just need to use them.

Coppermine has so much depth and talent yet they sit on the bench. Results showed this weekend it’s time to start seeing that.

Congrats to Hero’s on a strong weekend.

Every team has holes, Coppermine included. They clearly feel weak on attack and, unsurprisingly, there's one top attack in particular who's rumored to be moving there. So sorry to say, rich will keep getting richer.

2.5 now...although 2 players probably account for 95% of their shots and goals. Feel sorry for the other players when the recruiting showcases start in two years.

Kids have to produce to get recruited. If a college watches a kid force plays and make turnovers it doesn’t matter who’s watching. This is for all teams. Heros has a top 3 and rest are role players. Same at Coppermine and Sw. Don’t act like it’s different. The top players do extra to stand out on their team. Extra training, work on their own. Those that make more plays get their number called more often. Michael Jordan didn’t pass to luc longley for a game winner. If a girl produces more likely her team will share the ball with her. You all are gonna be a treat during recruiting jumping teams to find a place your average daughter can stand out and get recruited by BC.

It is not true that the top players on these teams are doing more than the rest of their team. Most girls on top teams are working hard. Some may feel that if they got the same opportunities other had, they might produce a little more. Regardless, who to run plays through etc etc is the COACHES call. It is not your DD's call who she should and should not pass to based on HER opinion of who produces.

Maybe not, but he passed the ball to John Paxson to hit the game winner for his first championship and to Steve Kerr for another.

In concurrence that every team has holes in different areas. Not sure who is being referred to here, but the rumors around an Upstate player coming to Coppermine, that idea won't make that team any better. Attack as a whole seems to be a weak spot for all the top teams. Most of the top offensive players are Middies at this age group. Middies and Defenders seem to be stronger at the 28 group while Goalies and Attack are weaker in the MD area.

I don’t know that it is called getting richer, more like mismanagement of resources. If they want a stronger attack, they have the personnel to make it happen.

100% true. You need solid scorers with very good athleticism. M&D has a very good attacker. Cop and Heros are weak athletically at attack overall. A couple good ones but no great ones.

They have at least 3 B level players. Watching them over the weekend they struggle to make plays and can’t do anything against pressure D.

The rich getting richer is the root of their problems. Overhype two of them, ignore the rest and team falls apart. Their coaches are missing warning signs everywhere. Next fall when they play us it will be a wake up call.

Every one of the top clubs at this age group has B level players at the bottom of their roster. This summer should filter them out finally.

Who is ‘us’? We all want to see that game. Love when a team calls someone out and doesn’t leave a name.

Pre HS the coaches put their top kids at middie, so they have the ball and can be involved in 70% of the game. This changes in HS and especially college, where the attack are the scorers, the middies are just good athletes that can get the ball from point A to point B.

You'll see some 28 middies moving to Attack.

Not sure which teams you're watching because there are some great attackers and goalies in this area!

I think any team is looking for a goalie if she is more talented than what they currently have. Reach out to the coaches of the teams you are interested in, and maybe they can watch your daughter at at a tournament over the next couple of weekends and give you an idea if the goalie position is something they are looking to improve upon.

Yellow Jackets just beat hero’s, so that probably needs to be flipped.

Has Mass Elite played anyone yet this summer?

Heros lost in a 20 minute game to YJ. When they played a full game against them last weekend they beat them by four. A little early to put YJ first.

“Slide down “ that’s humorous. M&D is still playing in the top pools and competing with those teams. Tied crush, beat eagle stix, play competitive games with coppermine and hero’s 2 weeks in a row. Eagle Stix will also get it figured out and continue to be competitive.

YJ dominated this weekend. Impressive.

Hero's right there. Playing well consistently.

Confused by Coppermine's and Eagle Stix's scores this summer. Coppermine scoring 2 goals against Eagle Stix and 3 goals against YJ in full 44 minute games the last two weeks? Eagle Stix going 1-3 and giving up 9 goals to Crush last week. Would really appreciate some analysis on either team's surprising performances this summer.

YJ and Hero’s playing well indeed. They control the draw and score off cutters and take advantage of other teams defensive weakness.

Coppermine speed seems to be getting contained and the lack of subbing is resulting in losses due to tired players.

Eagles Stix best players are getting neutralized and they need to work others in the offense. Haven’t seen much of M&D but their scores look competitive. Wins maybe come soon.

Coppermine only allows 2 girls to shoot. So when the girls get more experience it gets easier to defend. If anyone other than #12 or #14 shoot they immediately get pulled from the game and don’t come back.

“Coppermine needs to figure out all that talent they have.” Which talent are you referring to? There are only 2.5 talented offensive players on this team!

Yellow Jackets looks like the number 1 team. Coppermine needs to figure out all that talent they have. Eagle stix and M&D continue to slide down.
“Coppermine needs to figure out all that talent they have.” Which talent are you referring to? There are only 2.5 talented offensive players on this team!

Let's be honest, it's only a matter of time before they move to M&D or Hero's

Must be a Heros dad. If you lose to YJ you are ranked behind them.

Not a Coppermine parent but for another team. This is either a troll or someone not watching. They have plenty of strong players all across the field and tremendous skill.

Coppermine only allows 2 girls to shoot. So when the girls get more experience it gets easier to defend. If anyone other than #12 or #14 shoot they immediately get pulled from the game and don’t come back.

This person is either not knowledgeable, disgruntled “FT” or a troll. Coppermine has plenty of different players that shoot on goal and score. Girls are not getting pulled for shooting. They are a talented team that is well coached. They get teams best games since they are one of the best and will lose games just like all the other teams. Stop with the nonsense. We are lucky in the 28’s with a bunch of top teams that will trade wins and allow the girls to develop.

You mean the guy who screams nonstop from the parent sidelines. Shouting out step by step instructions to his kid and yelling at everyone?

All hype and no substance.

What did people who attended think of BIC? Worth it? Better than other showcase/allstar events?

Its a money grab, but most all these things are. That being said, the instruction is great. The talent is strong but as with everything, some kids didn't belong. If you have the extra income, go for it.
