Make no mistake about it but family toxicity is still there. They act quietly and run the politic circle on that team and despite their musings the buddy head coach couldn’t win with the same talent that TC had. Graduation is our gift from that dysfunctional team Yes, glad to be done as well. Nastiness abounds on that team and they will self destruct next year The 2 dads that think they run the lax work are obnoxious as heck. Breeding mean little girls that can do whatever they want. The school could do everyone a favor and kick the little drinker out and take video dad with her. Wow..Mcd sounds like a complete LaxinItUp show. Comparing talent on Mcd to St. Paul’s, I think most would take Mcd every time. Maybe next year. Easy there. McD has big time turmoil going on from within. Next year unless there is some type of reining it in, i see a meltdown in the team chemistry. Saying all that, they will still win and the people causing the turmoil will not care.

Who coaches the Maryland teams in NHSLS? Do IAAM teams send parent coaches like the indoor championships? Are players from the class of 2024 allowed to play in it? DD was new to varsity this year and I have not heard if our school is returning yet.

Isn’t the HS lax season over? Don’t you have anything better to do than keep raising the same thing over and over. All this rumbling and grumbling sounds like the kind of stuff you hear from people mad that their kids didn’t play. No, mad that a player can get away with bringing so much toxicity to a team, that the school is too much of a coward to remove her because they are more concerned about the wins and the national reputation and ranking of the girls lacrosse program than anything else. THAT is why people are mad.

Genuine curiosity/question- how does a kid from Maryland end up on an American Select Colorado roster when they didn’t try out in Colorado?

Not sure specifically this year but I know in the past that they have used local goalies for teams when there were injuries or issues as there wouldn’t need to be travel and it was just as a backup

Genuine curiosity/question- how does a kid from Maryland end up on an American Select Colorado roster when they didn’t try out in Colorado? 2027 Colorado team has two goalies from the East Coast. It is safe to assume they did not have any goalies tryout at that age group for Colorado, or their skills were severely lacking when compared to the two East Coast goalies during their own tryouts or on film sent in. Obviously, those two goalies did not make any of the teams created from their own, local tryouts.

Hope you are proud of that.

Do they vote or request to move down? GCS doesn't have a JV, going on year 3? Seems having enough to field a JV squad should be minimum.

Wouldn't the three older classes have the experience with American Select to be able to answer it better than a class with a lot of girls/parents experiencing it for the first time?

If everyone stays, they've got some solid talent, but word is some leaving just to make sure they have somewhere to play next year.

Most of the players on that team did the same thing on their trip to FL, she was the only one to get caught. Give it a rest

Just an outside observation, but I think your points would come across better if you stopped bringing up the alcohol thing. It gives away that your one person posting over and over and makes you seem obsessed with some minor off-field incident that happened 4 months ago.

If winning is all that matters than Mcd has sure not gotten it right in some time and maybe something does need to change. Mcd has gone from the perennial team to win 9 IAAM championships in a row to only winning 1 since 2019 and don’t look great for next year either as most of their talent graduates.

McD out coached in the big game and new coach couldn’t win with that talent. Only thing she developed is a cancerous team. That’s why the talent is going to Maryvale and St. Paul’s.

Beating a dead horse. As long as mom and dad have the money to get her out of the predicaments that she gets herself in, ones that would get other kids kicked out of school, she will remain, the team will remain toxic, they will continue not to win when it matters most. So just stop talking about her. She lives for the attention, positive or negative. And she reads this board daily. Stop giving her what she wants.

It starts with coaching. TC and her asst sidekick, MBT, promoted an atmosphere of nastiness and exclusion. If you were not a chosen one, then you were out….Seems like that tradition carried on with new coach (who loves aforementioned player).
Finally seems to be catching up with McD, as next year talent pool is reduced and parents are pushing back.

Well, and TC was the annointed one during her time as well at McD, and that continued at Maryland. Same with Whittle for example. And see where that has gotten Maryland as well when they can't rely on a chosen one. McD reaps what they sow in the culture Dept.

Majority of schools will take whatever they are serving as they are winners, you on the other hand are a big time whinner. Obviously you or your child didnt get playing time and are very upset. Well that is life, maybe look inward and realize , you just arent that good as you think. Two choices, do what it takes to get better, or move on.

Don’t you have to win to be considered a winner.
