I appreciate that. But it ain't where you are at the beginning of the summer baby, it's where you finish. We plan to finish the summer at the NLF National Championship. Might be tough though with that Age Verification policy for you guys to get in.

As long as Birddogs don’t have to play the Duke’s, they should have a chance. Can’t feel good to keep losing to a better, local team…but, hey, keep hittin the wall !

Our primary focus is on reaching the highest levels of competition during team’s sophmore and junior years. Before that we are really building the foundations of solid skills and lacrosse IQ. We have a long term view for our athletes.

Someone please explain to me why a AA team is playing in a A bracket this weekend?
Mesa Elite was a top 25 team last year, started 1-6 against great teams in fall now entered a A bracket For legends tournament? There is a AA bracket. They will beat up on B teams. They should be at prime time or great 8 this weekend.

Why would they leave if they were a top 25? I believe it was a complete implosion, which is a shame. Not sure why as it was a great team. Several landed at Brotherly Love and Team Ten. Not sure how many went to HHH. It will be interesting to see the effect on the clubs that got them. I don't know how many stayed with Mesa.

Pretty relevant and cautionary tale as we enter tryout season in a little over a month. Imagine the kids who tried out for Mesa last year and were super excited to shell over some serious cash to join. They thought they made the top 20 team. Unaware of the total defection of all the players that made up that team. You show up to fall practice and things look a little off, but hey it’s fall ball. The studs are probably balling out on the grid iron. Summer rolls around and the full realization sets in that you are not on the elite top 20 team, but something else entirely. This age group is maybe an outlier. This isn’t the first time one of the elite teams totally disintegrated. Probably a good chance the same group of people moving around. Maybe not, but maybe so. Be careful during tryout season. Make sure to check back on BOTC for the latest shifts and migration patterns next month.

We will see what comes of that HHH 27 team…time and games will tell. I don’t understand why kids constantly move from team to team at this age, is it simply eyeballs/being noticed

Kids usually move because they think the grass is greener. Parents are the problem. Always chasing a better team. It’s the society we live in.

I think going into freshman year is a good time to reevaluate your club team if you are looking to play at a college level. I won't name any clubs but some do it better then others.

I think going into freshman year is a good time to reevaluate your club team if you are looking to play at a college level. I won't name any clubs but some do it better then others. Some clubs are geared towards youth and middle school lacrosse and the required skill development. Some clubs are geared towards High School lacrosse and the required recruiting development. You need to do what is best for your situation. Remember this is just a game and academics are always way more important than athletics. Have a great summer weekend everyone

Check out the Million Summer Invitational. Officially now a B tier event with nothing but Dukes preparing to win every age group (except ‘29) lol.

The boys are gonna be putting in some light work at Summer Slam this weekend. Good opportunity for them to get out, break a sweat and work on some things ahead of the meat of the schedule.

Millon used to be a good tourney, not sure what happened. My boy is a 2030, I know Duke’s, Sweetlax FL, Dawgs, BBL Shore are the top teams…

I’m not sure either but for kids playing in Naptown 4 days of lacrosse seems excessive. Most of the big corporate clubs commit to tournaments in advance regardless of the competition.
I’m not taking anything away from the kids participating, but it doesn’t seem like a well balanced field. Look at NLF and NAL, really close games at all age groups.

Again still okay with cyberbullying but not okay with with a common term for an equine animal that is not a horse. BOTC - Really? Get your priorities straight. I am fine with deleting abusive language (it's your board do what you want), but delete post trashing identifiable kids.
