How did AA tryouts go yesterday? Madlax lost so many kids from summer they had to combine their A and B teams, and now raiding DC Express Orange team for players. Heard NL picked up 3-4 of Madlax’ best players and also heard DC Express picked up a couple really good players from MD including a true FOGO— which should help them dramatically since they didn’t have a dedicated FO player Where did DC Express pick up players from? I’m told they got the FOGO from Red Hots/Team 91. And maybe an Attackman from the area as well. What area?

I cant wait till next year for fall ball when you hear the over 120 kids are on the rosters for CHC, Loyola, Spalding and the roster for Varsity is over 40 at school. This means your 28 is going to better than a 27, 26 or 25 in order to make Varsity but you're complaining about holdbacks. Humble pie is coming just giving out the warning now
and yes junior will play JV ball - so getting ready to compete The problem with this theory is in high school at least the younger players have older players on their team. Whereas these teams that are true 28’s do not have older players helping their team. So when cheaters cheat and have older players on their team and beat true 28’s then brag about being the best, ya look silly. Follow Biff?

NLF had some loaded teams especially the top 6. It was apparent how much bigger those teams were. Def some 27s and even 26s playing on a few teams. 860 was mostly 2Way players. Very good teams across the country.

I'd rather have my kid learn that it's okay to show up to compete even if the odds are against you versus learning the lesson that despite his showing up to practice every week and paying his literal and figurative dues, he's going to get benched for a fly-in just so his club can win some 8th grade lacrosse games that no one will remember six months from now.

Completely different team than early HoCo.

Speaking of holdbacks - I know nobody cares about the circuit but red hots played more than three kids older than June 1st. That’s cheating.
I would name the kids but I feel that’s a bit much for an anonymous messages board. But they can say they are the #1 2028 team on The Circuit. So they will keep doing what they are doing. They have earned it !! Top Team with Top Coaches playing Top competition and Winning !! It is called being # 1 for a reason ! Shouldn’t you be in class finishing up your 7th grade school year?

Please adhere to the rules, no names, especially children/players.
If the 28 Hawks don't show up to the NLF, Hoco teams have no shot. DCE and Clippers should have stayed home and gone in the pool.

Team that shouldn't have been there was Big 4 HHH. Outscored 1-49 in pool play. Then lost play-in game to take on DCE.

DCE didn't play Big4/HHH. Tourney app wasn't accurate. Seems like some ML dads are still mad or maybe it's because they lost their 3 best players - one at attack, one at midfield and one close d to NextLevel during the past 2 weeks.
Also, no ringers. They are on DCE now.

So what is your angle and why so much insecurity about DCE?

I’ll tell you why… as the previous poster just mentioned, they just lost their three best players to Next Level, and have resorted to going after DCE B team players. They’ve added two of them this week. That’s a fact. Best Attack, best Middie, and best D pole. DCE black has added some great players but the roster is 27. Maybe a bit high, but ML is now north of 30, have fun with that, parents. And the unsportsmanlike coach’s penalties when the game is on the line, that’s a great time.

They lost to the Kings who are arguably a top 10 team (tied in 4th Q), lost to 860 which is all 2-Way kids by one, and then beat 91 Charlotte 12-3, 91 Long Island Surge 7-3, and 91 Tri State 8-3. Certainly not a great team yet, but definitely trending in the right direction after a bad HoCo run. Funny how the Madlax parents come on here and garbage on DCE, yet their coach is actively trying to take their players.

I don't think there is a brand name team in the DMV (NL, ML, DCE) with less 2. roster size doesn't hurt the top 3rd at all, and only affects the middle third modestly - it is only the bottom 5-7 players whose parents are wasting their money and their summer weekends

How many 27s will come down to 28 since this is the last year it's allowed? I highly doubt any 2027s are reclassing to 2028 at this point for a number of reasons. As to "the last year it's allowed," yeah that's only true for club ball. There are multiple Maryland 2028s reclassing to 2029 this summer. Have a visit with some 2028 AAA Hoco families and you'll meet them! It will continue with 2030s, as there are already a few dozen MIAA 2029s who have reclassed to 2030, and there will be more. Yes they will just have to ride the bench with their age appropriate club team, but they will be able to legally buy beer at senior week so there is that. My son said it was weird sitting in 8th grade graduation with classmates (all lax players) who are reclassing to 2029, and the graduation speakers were just yapping on about "next year it's a new adventure NO MORE MIDDLE SCHOOL" and oooooooooof. You know those new 2029s had a rough day of it. Maybe 8th grade graduation Part Deux next year will be more fun, thanks Lax Dads.

If you boys are bored during your next Zoom meeting, and want to see some full on shenanigans, take a look at the BOTC 2034 board.
It would appear that ML 2034 had a wave of roster violations (age), and had to forfeit their HoCo semifinal to Hawks.
A Madlax Dad has countered, well it's all a big conspiracy by HoCo to exclude kids with ADHD and violate the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Hawks Dad chipped in with, no, your sons had visibly altered ID forms, you got caught.
Of course St. Cabel Maddux is shocked and heartbroken that such inequity has occurred, and he will get to the bottom of it ASAP, you know, for the kids and what not loooooooollllllllllll.
6/5 highly recommend

6/5 highly recommend Vintage Madlax…. If you’re bored, or between games, take a look at Madlax pages back to 2013 on this board. It’s all still up there. You “ungrateful quitter!!!”

6/5 highly recommend Vintage Madlax…. If you’re bored, or between games, take a look at Madlax pages back to 2013 on this board. It’s all still up there. You “ungrateful quitter!!!” Is anyone really surprised? He's just the worst thing in Lax. Fortunately my kid hasn't lost to Madlax since 2nd grade, otherwise it would be even more intolerable.

I don't get it, I thought 29s had to be "on age" or "only reclassed if they were summer birthdays"? Still a holdback though.

Crabs is a joke. I hope this hoco season exposed them. What do you expect from a club coach/owner that never played in college and couldn’t make his high school team… haha Crabs are the Premier team to play for. There is a reason the boys wear their Yellow and Blue Jackets with pride at college games. https://www.USCL.com/rank?v=1028&alpha=N&y=2023so funny. #7. clown. Weird, this link takes me to your mom’s page

Weird, this link takes me to your mom’s page Everyone knows the rankings are manipulated by marketing (not lacrosse) masters like RM. We don’t need rankings to know that they barely beat teams and lost to NL in hoco but are somehow ranked way above them. Ranked #8 is a joke. They do wear their jackets on college sidelines, bc they’ve drunk the coolade. Too bad it’s to cheer on their teammates that actually play. Lacrosse parents are fool but crabs parents are delusional. Apparently a bunch of mediocre no name holdbacks and former preds kids clearly aren’t enough. Never won a hoco playoff game, and soon another bad summer. Then what will you have to say?

Hawks has owned them every single time they’ve played, not to mention a better record, always higher ranked and has more D1 players. Oh wasting $ on swag is what makes them premier. Got it.
