1 child tells a story to another child. By the time it gets to coach and parents it’s 100% accurate and true too! This. Been watching this crop up time and time again on this page since it happened. Bottom line is no one here knows exactly what happened BUT his reputation and behavior prior (for years) makes it believable and that in itself is a shame. How could anyone want him as a coach for their daughter - with or without the classless comment. Yes we do know. He called a player a piece of sh@t during the game. This was heard by spsg player who was standing right there. She immediately went to the ref who claimed he didn’t hear anything. During handshake lines, BR called the player classless. She asked in disbelief if he was really saying that. He said it again. The next day he lied about saying the first comment and altered what he said in handshake line. Maryvale did no investigation, took BR at his word and yes they were told about all of his previous outbursts. Don’t forget about the ongoing posts on his social media feed where he is trolling the same high school girl.

That is a big difference 301 kids that is 150 more girls in school. That is 16% bigger than SP.

How often is it evaluated? Broadneck: 2,174 SP: 1,873 seems odd they are not in same division. Every two years reclassification occurs. It is based on school population and also depends on the sport/participation in the sport (lacrosse being the sport most effected by this as not all schools have it).

What has he done in past? Nothing! Besides some BS accusations on BOTC. Girls who played for him love him. He yells at refs like every coach does. Stop with the nonsense accusations. 1 child tells a story to another child. By the time it gets to coach and parents it’s 100% accurate and true too! This. I swear that you can’t make this up. First, only classless player on field at end of that game was 23 who ran 10 yards out of her way to scream in a SP girl’s face instead of celebrating with her team. Always thought she got that from dad but maybe mom too. Heard mom wouldn't shake Florida coach’s hand after game. Why? Because he slapped BR around years ago after a game they played in. Why did he do that? Because BR was running his mouth. The best thing about this is that people are talking about him and these stories are everywhere. #betterthannetflix

For Reference, there are 199 Schools that sponsor at least 1 MPSSAA sport. 168 field a Boys Lax team and 162 field a Girls lax team. Of those 162, 155 fielded a team for the state tournament this year. There were 41 Teams in 4a (38 in State Tourn.), 40 in 3A (39 in State Tourn.), 43 in 2A (40 in State Tourn.), and 38 in 1A (all 38 in State Tourn.) So it is pretty even numbers wise.
Largest 4A School: High Point-PG Smallest 4A School: Northwood-Mtg. Largest 3A School: Frederick HS-Fred. Smallest 3A School: City College- Balt City Largest 2A School: Edgewood- Harford Smallest 2A School: Century- Carroll Largest 1A School: McDonough-Charles Smallest 1A School: Kent County-Kent
There are 7 schools with bigger populations than S.P. in 3A There are 7 schools with bigger populations than Man Valley in 2A There are 12 schools with bigger populations than Glenelg in 2A Century is the smallest 2A school by population
All this shows is school size means nothing. Any of the above 4 schools would dominate both 4A and 1A and would have little trouble in 3A.

The only people obsessed with Manchester Valley are the people on this page and US Lacrosse. If you look at their schedule, you will see that they play no one challenging. Even their scrimmage was against the worst IAAM team, Mount de Sales. I watched their game today and was not impressed. They turn the ball over, don’t shoot well against a good goalie and don’t do well against decent draw girl. The only thing they have over every other team that I’ve watched is their rides and reading the Sun article, the Glenelg coach had a plan for that. They do ride very well. Next season, I’d love to see them play St. Pauls, Maryvale or Severna Park.

It was the most boring girls game I have ever watched.

The game may not been exciting but the Glenelg coach did exactly what he needed to to win the game. No doubt about it, Man Valley has a lot of offensive talent. Getting ahead and slowing the game down was a great strategy on the coaches part.

Not everything is about lacrosse… If you believe that than I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. 100% about the way she treated the coaches, parents and program as a whole. She got caught in multiple lies and too may people know the truth. Her being pregnant is a convenient narrative that worked well to save face and avoid further embarrasment. It was over a body of work but this was the nail in her coffin. Now can the coach get her job back?

IAAM parents coming on here to run their mouth now that Man Val finally lost after a 36 game winning streak. Shot clock only helps Man Valley. They ride well, play solid defense and can score quickly. Credit to Glenelg for using the rules to their advantage as their coach even said so in the post game interview. This years team started 4 freshman, 2 sophs and 5 juniors. Next year they will come back strong and may not be the year you wish for them to schedule some games against IAAM teams.

Man Valley has to play Century every year, but I think they should challenge themselves by playing harder teams instead of trying to hold on to a perfect record.

This year the other team had a plan and MV couldn’t adjust with 1 player.

Just watched the Man Valley vs Glenelg game and other than #10 for MV i thought Glenelg had the better team and players MV may be young but without #10 it s an average team.

Even last season, Glenelg lost every draw and still managed to go into overtime with Man Valley. The team is talented no doubt, but way overrated. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

Feelings are not hurt at all. Glad to see you believe they are talented. Maryland does have some good lacrosse players, coaches and teams. Too bad we do not live in the perfect world where the top teams could just play each other.

Not to mention, I saw Man Val push the pace and try to score while watching Glenelg hold the ball for 2-3 mins per possession and 6-7 mins at two points during the game. It was hard to watch as a fan of the sport. If there was ever an argument for a shot clock; this may have been the straw that broke the camels back.

She is a very talented player! Her ride is insane. We can debate that public schools need a shot clock all day, but the Glenelg Coach used the clock to his advantage. I watched Century do the same thing to Glenelg twice. Maybe not 7 minutes, but would have definitely shot clock violation! 😂

Too bad the MV coaches didn’t know how to get their team good shots vs the zone too. Everyone knew MV has 1 player. They took her away and won the game. And the MV peeps think that will win next year vs an IAAM team ? Stay in Carroll and be the big fish !

I’m not sure if I agree. I thought GHS had a great game plan and MV looked like they made their adjustments. Thought coaching was good on both sides. I also saw talent on both sides. GHS was very good and their goalie played great. They were very balanced and once they got the lead they could play keep away. MV looked like they just didn’t have the possession time to overcome the deficit. They stormed back by changing their run and gun style. I saw a lot of talent on both sides, but now knowing how young MV is, I wouldn’t have known that by watching. They have some real talent. Which ones are freshman? And yes if they lose 10 and 13 next year that will hurt. I expect to see another showdown between them again next year.

It’s a shame because if they would have just played their normal game, it would have been a great game to watch.

The difference is I do not see any public school parents posting about how the MV or Glenlg team care about the IAAM. Most of the posts in which I can decipher, you know who is who. Both leagues have good and bad teams. But it’s obvious the IAAM parents love to justify how great it is, and yet will rip apart coaches, players and administrators of their own schools and then move on to trashing the public schools. Not understanding this mentality. Actually I do understand. Wow.
