This is the funniest stuff I’ve ever read, let your kids go have fun and stop complaining. The range rule is notIntelligent it’s not a problem in any other tournament. Kids move around not to any decision of their own. They shouldn’t lose friends or teammates because of it. Complain about the age verification if you want but let’s be real and watch any college lacrosse game. You’ll see a 6th year 24 year old senior guarding a 18 year old freshman. It’s not cheating. Deal with it, you think the college coach is going to complain to the ref he’s so much older than my guy 😭 no he’s going to tell the kid to beat him. You all take this way too serious and need to take a step back from the game.
Sincerely- someone who has played in the past decade Guy who played in last decade, It is cheating to reclass but that’s probably how you found a spot on a team. You wouldn’t do it if it didn’t help. 100 mile rule makes sense because it’s supposed to be a team not national team. If 1 kids parents move and he can’t play on his old team that was the parents decision. It shouldn’t negatively affect everyone else. The problem with college sports is the 24/25 yr old senior. He’s stealing time from someone who was talented enough to play on age. Plus in my day he was considered a super senior which was not a compliment. Signed, Someone that played and has morals! reclass is unfortunately part of the game and it is not going any where...high schools have to do a better job of making it something that cannot benefit a kid athletically. as for a 24 yr old playing against an 18 yr old...there is a difference. Both boys at that point have fully gone through puberty and are both men or closer to it than a 14 yr old who grew earlier and 12 yr old who is growing late. There is s signficant difference between a pubcesnt 14 yr old who is 6'1" playing against a 12 yr old who is 5'. Not saying it is cheating but you can't compare college it middle school.

Not cheating to reclass, but you can cry about it, it’s pointless because you won’t stop it from happening. Not saying they should but pointless to cry about it. They will play against kids different ages their whole lives 7th grader play against 8th grader in middle school 9th grader play against 12th graders in high school Freshman go against seniors 21-25 in college
It would be cheating to lie about your age but that’s not what’s being discussed here. Every team that can afford to bring down kids for a tournament with this much publicity should. It’s good for the kids to get some love and the clubs benefit showing up with their best players. [Censored] to not be a big enough club to bring kids down don’t detest the guys that have been in the business longer and have done a good job running their clubs Good job eclipse and 91 for running a club team effectively
Lots of good things going on with the smaller clubs developing guys just worry about your own kids too much attention on other people it’s sad

Reclassing buys you more time for puberty, more time to train, more time to lift weights. Big difference between 18 and 21, big difference between 18 and 24. There should be rules against this and just because there isn’t doesn’t change the fact that it is cheating.

Several 27’s reclassed and if you ask around, you will find multiple 28’s have announced intentions to reclass next year. If your on age son plays for one of the premier clubs or is intending to go catholic, watch out.

Why would you think it’s ok to compare HS years and youth years?Totally different.Thats why age groups and cutoff dates exist in youth and not HS.Sure you can not play HS sports @ 20 years old but to compare is just ridiculous.Holdbacks in middle school or re classes and for the 8th grade dad who had a good 10 year old who leveled out and are now desperate to make them good again. Its shameless. The 91 leftovers comment is spot on.The Venom players did score around or over 90% of their goals the last 2 tournaments. It will be interesting how they do without the 4-5 kids from the older teams helping them.Especially the middy. He seems to be one of the best in his age group right now.I bet he isn’t re classing.

You have to pay to play and even pay for your uniform. If you want to pay money so you can post on instagram your kid made it and how proud you are of “all his hard work” have it.

Express is painful at 29! Have maybe 3 players who will be on the team in 2 years. Enjoy your chuchu train now because it’s over by HS. CoachC already making moves to revamp this entire roster.

By no means am I an Express hater, my boys play for Express. I just thought the Express is #2 at this age was an aggressive comment. It's better to be "somewhat" realistic on these forums as it provides more intrinsic value to the reader. Outlandish comments are just an annoyance.
