How many kids not see the field for the Cyclones ? 5 or 10. Did daddy kids come off the field?

The Blantant Spring Jam in Stony Brook was interesting this past weekend.
91 Cyclones lost to 91 Colorado team twice. Second time 5-1 in Championship game.
Igloo Black Ice beat 91 Colorado team in a tight game. Supposedly the first loss for that Colorado team in 2 yrs
Cyclones continues to beat Igloo Black Ice every time they play.
S2S and Aces were completely out matched and didn’t belong in division. They are not AA teamsHKaz

Maybe 91 Colorado saved their best kids for the championship and played some kids that don’t always get as much time against Igloo. Were they projected to make it to the championship when they played Igloo ??

91 Colorado coaches played all their players which shows that they care about all the players, not just 13 of them. Cyclone coaches should take note.

Colorado was a big fast team
They had a lot of big poles and middies
Cyclones doesn’t had much size , though very skilled They will have tough time with out of state teams
I’m sure they will add more kids this year

Cyclones got MAN-handled! Clear Colorado came with a purpose and a few extra young men! It will be interesting if those same kids play 2028 for the NLF or 2030.

They are probably going to lose some kids because of PT.

That is the biggest farce... I'm sure the goalie mom on Colorado wouldn't agree! Number 3 never left the game, despite the fact he had 8th-grade regents exams this week.

Cyclones lost 2x to Colorado, not just in the championship. I wish those cyclones parents would stop making excuses. They weren’t that big but that obviously makes you feel better. Black Ice beat that Colorado team. Cyclones beat Black Ice. Some matchups work better for different teams.

Igloo despite a bad game to 91 looked really good. Strong off ball movement and quick dodges up top. Coaching has really put this team in the elite category

Funny how it unfolds same way every cycle. Can see the shift and how next fall will he a whole new pecking order. At least there are a number of options for all kids across all levels at this age.

There are not all new options. The reality for Long Island is there are 4 options for elite team in the 2030 year 1 Cyclones 2-3 Black Ice or Legacy 4 Express Everyone is a significant step below

You guys remember the annoying Rebels parents (and directors) that sued to come on here and rant about their 2030 Aces?! They’d play anyone, any time, any place? Their silence is deafening Lolol

91, Igloo, Legacy, Express, should be destinations for top kids. After those, Shore, Rebels, Moose, then the B teams of those above. If looking for a lax team for training purposes, Turtles, but not serious yet, maybe LI Jesters, but not that serious and , more of a town team. Most top end talent will merge to first batch as they get close to World Series.

Top destination ????
If you don’t want to see the field maybe Cyclones and express have their guys
They will keep adding kids and letting them sit on the bench and play 2 mins a game.
You should really be more focused on training Not winning 6th grade tournaments
Express has 0 indoor winter training and still Charged top $$$$

“Destination for top kids”, yes if they don’t develop on those teams and put the work in on their own, they will likely be replaced.

What kind of proof would convince you? Birth certificates? Age verification from US Lacrosse? Carbon dating? These kids will be at summer tournaments requiring age verification and are eligible.

Thanks for the scouting reports boys! Always fun playing the LI teams, especially the ridiculousness with the parents on the sidelines….and the excuses! Oh the excuses! Why is it when LI teams lose its always the age thing? I’m afraid that doesnt fly these days with age verification and all that but I’m sure that won’t stop you guys.

Age verification??????
Where is this checked , you submitting a roster and you think anyone really checking it ???
Lacrosse is the most cheating club sport there is That’s why these rankings mean nothing
You Pay $4k be on a team and when team shows up to tournament you have kids with different helmets and jersey !

It's very simple, Colorado didn't travel and spend tons of cash to lose, did they cheat, most likely, can anyone do anything about it, NO. This is going to continue for the rest of our children's youth lax careers until they reach High school and then the playing field is somewhat leveled. USA Lacrosse as a governing body has failed our kids, they have allowed premier clubs across the nation to gain the upper hand. It is too late for age verification. Until Rosters are certified and roster checks are performed pregame by referees (like soccer) there will always be cheating. It's unavoidable, as most coaches and parents can't help themselves. So for now, just accept the fact teams will cheat and hope that it helps your child get better playing against kids 1-2 years older. Best of luck next weekend, predicting an NLF Final as a battle for the ages, 91 Colorado vs Lax Black.

Unfortunately, it’s rampant; my son’s team played Spring League in PA and True Pittsburgh had a 14yr old FOGO, shocked parents aren’t embarrassed, but win at all costs. What did I tell my son? It stinks but that’s life, get used to it

Do you know that for sure or just basing this on his size, like the LI parents always seem to do?
